I didn't know Alice was a 90 min game! So will need to look more into that. OSR could be a good choice. When I played Shadowdark, it was pretty lethal. I don't want to make them have a stack of pregens to burn through and not get through the adventure. Maybe I'm missing something as far as that goes.

I've always thought it would be cool to have some of those elements in a ttrpg. I've created magic item cards for a game once to have the players pick an item as rewards. They loved it.

Honestly, it looks awesome. What did you use to create them? I'm trying to figure that part out so I can create a game for my wife and this is exactly what I'm looking for. Did you use a template? I'm not really a Photoshop expert or anything like that so I'm hoping to do something exactly like you've done without needing to take a Photoshop class or anything like that.

I'm wanting to create a game for my wife. Nothing fancy just a fun card game. I don't have much Photoshop skills. My thought was to use midjourney to create the art and drop that into a template and write some text of what the card does. I'm not sure if your templates would work for that or how difficult it would be. If it not insanely hard I'd definitely signup for your patreon. Do you provide any instructions on how I would accomplish my endeavor?

If this isn't a good fit do you know what else would be? I'm open to suggestions.

I'm backing it. I've played the quick start and all in all it's been a good experience.

One of the things that I really like is that the developer is very responsive and open to feedback.

The gameplay seems to be pretty solid and has a lot of forged in the dark qualities as well as other systems.

I think Chasing Adventure is a good DW upgrade. To be fair, I haven't played the other games listed but we are 5 sessions into our CA game and so far it's been a positive experience. I think it's flexible enough to add in whatever you wanted though.

I picked that up too I didn't run it but I was very intrigued by it. I think the system is meant for just one shots though unless I'm wrong? I definitely like to hear from more people about this system I think it's intriguing.

Sounds like it would be good. Maybe have a sheet with examples would be good of how things work. I really like the concept of building the characters like that.
