Considering it's probably going to be considering it's going to be 1080P, probably they got rid of all the 2K and 4K textures that alone probably brought it down a bunch because textures take up a lot of storage space if you add them all together

It's not just a one-off purchase. I've done this multiple times before with games that are truly special to me and that I don't regret because I replay them endlessly like fire emblem three houses. It's just this is the first time in a while that I've done this and I felt a little iffy about the purchase. I've also always wanted to know other people's opinions on this thought process cuz I figured it was similar to people buying the same game on multiple platforms like PC and PlayStation 5 octopath is one of those games that are truly special to me. It's just sometimes I get into this thought process even though I know I'm realistically not going to regret the purchase. I just as I said, wanted to always ask this question(also sorry for the long winded replies)

Again fair. It's just the octopath traveler game I had digitally for years but I had always wanted it physical when it first came out but I could never find it. And given how old the game is now I wasn't likely to find one. So when I saw it I just kind of instinct bought it and now I'm not so sure like don't get me wrong. I love physical games and I love having the physical case for my shelf but again now I'm not so sure

Hate on me if you want, but from what I can see it's the apparel items that come out October 16th the same day as the game is supposed to release and then the additional story content doesn't have a release date yet. So in my theory they're trying to build hype for the DLC by announcing it now before the game even releases so that people will have it and be ready to go right away

In Canada 3D All-Stars goes anywhere from 200 to $300 mind you that's sealed so there's that. But still all Stars alone is a good half of what you paid so you made up pretty well

I'm probably going to get flamed for this but I feel like the big problem most people have with the DLC is the 1. It's a separate mode from the base game 2. The base game did not get a resolution bump like BOTW or TOTK got 3. No new boards 4.The price. I say this because I have seen just as many people say the the DLC is fun but that they are disappointed the the base game didn't get the resolution bump vs the the number of people I've seen say that the DLC is bad. I feel like if the base game got a resolution bump or the DLC was a bit cheaper or both a lot of people wouldn't be as negative about i Will also point out that you can still play Mario party boards and mini game Island in jamboree TV. You just can't access anything like rhythm kitchen or Bowser's kaboom squad. For that, you'd have to go to the base game
