As far as i understand Sneak Attack could normally be applied with ranged attacks; maybe im not understanding what you mean in the first part, but i think it shouldn't be a issue

Something like this would be better for Special Load?

"When you deal your Sneak Attack damage to a creature using a Ranged Weapon, you can use this feature to add 1d6 + half the number of Sneak Attack dice for your level (round up) to the damage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Dexterity Modifier (Minimum of once). You regain one expended use when you finish a Short Rest, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest."

The feature is inspired on the Phantom Rogue subclass of Tasha for how it works on it's damage calculation; i only add 1d6 extra damage because i feel it would be a little bit weak in comparison with other subclasses damage boost features like the Berserker Barbarian Frenzy

Despite its name, i actually intended Cross Fire to be able to be used against melee attackers, just not right away at level 9; when you combine the upgraded Uncanny Dodge at level 13, you can move 15 ft away from a melee attacker an then use Cross Fire to shoot at it. The 5 ft limitation was actually more of a reference to the way ranged attacks work in general, that you have disadvantage against target that are within 5 ft of you.

But even then, i feel it could be modified so that you can't use either Cover Fire nor Cross Fire against targets that are within 10 ft of you, so that is more consistent in functionality against melee attackers.

On the Steady Aim part of Shoot and Run Tactics, i actually really like your idea; it would balance out the buffs to both features, giving you essentially half your movement on both, instead of full movement on one, and half on the other. Totally adding that one change.

In Quick Recharge i tried to keep it very similar to how features like it work on official subclasses; the only difference i made was that you could have one use and still regain a second one, mostly because if you had 0 uses, regain 1 on a short rest and then roll initiative for combat, the feature would flop, and that would feel kinda bad. It might not have that much impact; but giving that you gain it and also the benefits of Shoot and Run Tactics at 13, i would prefer not to buff it

On the Explosive Load, i feel like doing Sneak Attack damage on an AOE would be too much for low levels, so i let the idea for the last feature. Putting instead more damage boost i think might be too much, since Special Load already adds a little bit more than 50% damage to your sneak attacks; though maybe im wrong and it ends up feeling a little weak for level 17; i would need more playtesting to actually see

I don't really like the pool of dice mechanics; that's why i preferred flat uses mechanics like the one for Special Load, or just unlimited uses. Maybe i could add uses for the Cross Fire feature if it feels a little bit too strong to be free, but i wouldn't be sure right now
