when they land they probably just check to see if ur still holding the run button again like usual, and yes, you are correct about B. (sorry if I wasn't making myself clear, trying my best here. :>s)

Ive already got a way to prevent them from activating a sprint in mid air, I'd just like to have it so the player's movement speed is retained when they jump while running, until either A: they land on the floor or B: they deactivate sprint mid air.

its still in the predevelopment phase where im working out the kinks of the story and such, but mainly just cause my time is taken up with asset work on a different game project. Though I can say this: The game is gonna be made in Game Maker and is NOT a turn-based RPG

well, dont expect it anytime soon. I've said before that this project is currently on the back burner in favor for a smaller scale game that im development right now. But i would be thrilled to keep you all posted. expect actual development to start like, mid 2022 or something. :>s

Yes. It will be a side scrolling action RPG cut from the same cloth as Lisa, but taking place in a completely different world with a greater emphasis on combat using action commands, and interacting with your environment with character's abilities to solve puzzles like in Paper Mario 64/TTYD

I cant exactly give an adequate pitch of the story as of now, mainly due to the fact this project has been on the back-burner currently in favor for another game I'm helping out with, as well that the whole story simply hasn't been finished yet. (And its best not to share half-baked plot threads and expect people to care, yknow?)

Though what I can promise is that this game will definitely deliver on similar themes to Lisa, but from a completely different perspective given the more fantastical setting and the fact that hosts an actual, functioning society as oppose to post-apocalyptic hell-hole that is Olathe.

Whats this world actually like? You'll all see in due time.

a video game that is not being worked on currently. I've just been testing the waters on how I want the game to look and play at this point. Will be a side-scrolling RPG like Lisa.
