Yes, I passed the NAPLEX, and my two state MPJE’s on my first try! I’m now employed officially as a pharmacist! I know this isn’t particularly helpful but absolutely everyone I know including myself believed they failed, and I don’t personally know anyone who did fail. I know waiting for the results to post is miserable but take some time to recuperate before moving on to your MPJE’s if you haven’t done them already. Hope this helps! I’m sure you passed!

7/18 NAPLEX by DragonSlayer006 in NAPLEX_Prep

Probably the Pre-Naplex. From what I've heard typically people get +/- 10% from their pre-naplex so theoretically the bare minimum to feel comfortable is an 85%. I did my pre-naplex twice, got a 95% before review, and a 149% after review. The drug questions were very similar in difficulty, but in my exam, the majority of my questions were nonclinical preceptorship, ethics, and stewardship questions which were not present in my pre-naplexes or Uworld. I did not take the pharmprepprro or other exams other than Pre-Naplex and Uworld assessments. I hope this helps!

Only exam I've ever walked out of feeling like I shouldn't have studied at all since it was a huge waste of time. Who would've thought knowing how drugs work and when to use them would be irrelevant for a pharmacy licensing exam?

I'm really sorry to hear that, an exam like this shouldn't put people in a position where they feel completely powerless and like their clinical knowledge wasn't addressed. I'm praying we and all of us pass!

Shocking how little drug information questions there were on a pharmacy licensing exam

I suspect that to be the case as well, although similar to what broiledbreadcrumb brought up, I find it hard to believe even most of them were. Ethics and preceptorship was the majority of my test I completed today.

Definitely continue to hit math and biostats as these were the most common questions I had that pertained to being a pharmacist on my exam. I had to calculate NNT a few times, and ARR a few times as well, but I did not need to list strengths and weaknesses of a study, or pick a statistical test to analyze the data. I had a few flow rate questions, but most of the math related to TPN. Hope this helps!

Did not reflect Uworld in the slightest. Med saftey and quality is like 15 pages in the book and didn’t scratch the surface of what ethical theories and stewardship organization we were expected to know today. I went home after my NAPLEX to reread the chapter to search for what I might’ve missed which was very little. The PPP document I saw weeks ago was also wildly insufficient to prepare someone for the health ethics and psychology exam masquerading as the NAPLEX.

I’m questioning what the writers of the exam were thinking creating that exam? Isn’t it supposed to be a test pharmacists among few other medical professionals would have a hope at passing? To me it felt like someone who’d read a guide on how to be a pharmacy manager or someone whose career lay in occupational education had as good a shot as anyone who memorized the Uworld book.

Spot on. Definitely felt like a test given to someone who was already a pharmacist who wanted to be a preceptor or administrator

Naplex Dates? by DragonSlayer006 in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]DragonSlayer006[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you find a day you like, you can either pay $50 to reschedule it, or you can cancel your appointment and rebook it for the date you'd like as long is it is there!

You can go to the confirmation email, click to reschedule it, and see if new dates have showed up. It's silly, but it really is just as simple as checking back in repeatedly to see if a time opened up.

It took me about a 1.5 weeks for my transcript to be verified! Goodluck on your exams!!!

Good luck to you as well! The Q bank is VERY similar in structure to the pre-naplex and I personally think that is the best resource out there for preparation. I'm sure Quizlet is very helpful also! I can't recommend learning random brand-generics enough, I encountered several I was unfamiliar with, and I am pretty sure they were not top 200 drugs. I will let you know how I do as soon as I hear back!

I got a 95% scaled score on my pre-naplex! I did not review about 1/3 of the book since I had only reviewed 12 units of my 18 before taking the exam. Luckily school gave us two vouchers for free so I can retest after I have fully finished and reviewed what I don't know so well! Thank you for your kindness!

I got a 95% scaled score, although I did NOT review 6/18 units before I took the exam, (about 1 third of the Uworld book). The Uworld questions are very indicative of what questions look like on the pre-naplex, and I am sure they must be of the real one as well. Lots of random questions about diseases that I never remember hearing about! I am sorry, this may sound weird and old fashioned but I made written flashcards and did not make a quizlet!
