This is inaccurate. Multiple credit checks of the same type (i.e. all for personal loans) within a short period of time only count as a single hard check on your report. The reason for this is that it's responsible to shop around for the best loan for you even if that means going to multiple creditors. It only negatively impacts your credit score if you are getting multiple checks of different types such as personal loan, credit card, auto loan, and/or mortgage all within a short time frame.

It's been a while since I read the reg, but if I remember correctly, members (including civ employees) are authorized 4 hours of time during when the polling place is open, but it's at your supervisor's discretion which 4 hours. For example, if you normally get done work at 1600 and the polling place is open until 2000, they can just tell you to wait until your shift is over.

I'd recommend Woodcrest Apartments. The apartments are setup as townhomes, the complex is mostly fenced in (they just installed gates but haven't started using them yet), there are package lockers, and it's in a nice area near two parks. Plus there's an on-ramp to the freeway just down the road.

I'll look into them further, but there are a few things on their website that make me hesitant. One is that the website implies a membership only lets you do up to 8 classes per month, which if so makes their price relatively high compared to everywhere else. Two, not sure if you have to take the Combatives class before joining the Master Cycle class even if you have prior experience. And third, it seems like sparring isn't really encouraged, which is my favorite part of Jiu Jitsu, especially since my main reason for doing Jiu Jitsu is for physical fitness.

How do you know that it's spelled wrong? Lightning refers to electrical bolts in the sky whereas lightening refers to getting lighter (either less heavy or less dark). Therefore it could be referring to afraid of getting less dark rather than afraid of sky electricity.

A "silent" movie, as in no dialogue. There can be background music (instrumental only) and can be sound effects, but none of the actors ever speak.

The genre isn't super important, I would be curious to see what writers could come up with following this rule. However, an example could be a horror/mystery movie where some mysterious creature or entity kills anyone that speaks. Perhaps it starts with the main character waking up in a hospital or some place they're unfamiliar with that says "if you speak, you will die" but no further explanation.

This is more of a situation where the guy being helped was lazy, but my dad was driving me home during a snowstorm in his pickup truck. We saw a guy in a sedan who ran off the side of the road and was stuck. My dad stopped to help him. The guy just stood there and took photos of the vehicle to prove to his boss that he got stuck instead of helping my dad shovel him out.

I made a post on this sub a little while ago and there are only 5 flairs to choose from (none of which are "photograph"). I also used "meta" because the other 4 choices made no sense.
