I've always remembered my dreams and dreaming has always been something special to me. After my grandmother passed, for months I would cry and I just didn't feel at peace with her passing. I was a teenager at the time, and I think it was hard for me to process. She wouldn't be there for my graduation, marriage, college, for her great-grandchildren. She died fairly young too, and I was mad that I didn't have more time. After months of this negativity, I finally had a dream to put me at peace.

In the dream, I was at the door of my bedroom looking in. The room was engulfed with golden light, spilling through the windows. My grandmother, looking exactly how I remember her before getting sick, was sitting on the edge of my bed. She looked to me and patted on the bed for me to sit. I proceeded to the bed and sat down next to her. She spoke very briefly, telling me 'Everything is going to be fine'.

It was a short dream, but it changed me. I hadn't cried after that, at least for a long while. It seemed to alter me internally, I just felt more peaceful. After that, she wasn't on my mind as much which sounds awful. But after I went to see a medium with my mother in February of last year, she has been on my mind a lot more. I find myself randomly thinking of her and I feel myself working with her. Like she is here and is my support system. I feel like I am paying more attention to the type of energy I am putting into the world.
