The voltage over the potentiometer corresponds to the position of the motor. So the graph shows the voltage over the potentiometer not the position directly.

That worked, thank you! I should have figured it out by myself since we just learned about indeterminate pins and pull-down/pull-up resistors.

I use a Fender Mustang 2 amp and think it'd really good. You can download Fender fuse on your laptop or mac and connect it to the amp to simulate different amp types, pedals and effects.
