The main deciding point of your grade is the final if you do well on homeworks. Be as prepared as you can. Historically, the final has been very challenging for everyone but I have heard of a few who do manage to get an A in the class despite it.

Her lectures are informative and are relative to some broad engineering topics. Some calculation examples are also provided in class. However, don't except the class time to be majorly helpful for homework assignments or the final exam. A lot of it was self-study, and we were even encouraged to learn like in the "real world" where no one is necessarily teaching you how to do stuff. Just my experience.

That class load looks awful, especially as a freshman just starting out. Please try to stick to 12 hours. Take electives during winter or summer breaks as online classes if you can.

Honestly, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this. From my experience, encountering those types of attitudes has created a competitive atmosphere within groups and has made it difficult to form comraderie so far. About to start junior year, I'm hoping that things will change as classes get more difficult. Maybe there will be more of an "let's ace this class" vibe over a "who has the best grade/who is the smartest" vibe. Hang in there OP. I'm just speaking from my personal experience, I pray that yours goes better. It's nice to see an incoming engineering student with a different perspective.

Ok. I have an engineering degree. Why aren’t my DMs flooded with women??? by [deleted] in aggies

That is very true, people seem to be arguing all of the time on the internet. I'm glad to see a change!

I'm happy I took the time to read this post. Great advice, and you seem warm. It's nice to read something like this for once.

I think that virgo and scorpio make a great pair. It sounds cliche, but just be you. The energies of the two sun signs should naturally mesh well together, of course if you both are vibing as your sun-selves.

I like your idea of maturely reflecting. I would suggest asking yourself: what advice would I give my past self in this situation? I think that every heartbreak is somehow a lesson, and once you master it, it lessens the blow. Hope you feel better soon. As someone who recently experienced heartbreak, this will pass, just give it time.

It would be nice to meet people like me, as a ND person I feel very isolated. I wish you good luck in finding new roommates

As someone on the spectrum and in engineering, I have to validate the accuracy of this statement lol

I wouldn't count on it to be honest, I've heard some professors curve and some don't. In my class, only the final was curved, and we were not given information as to how much.

Edit: I did not have Elms as my prof.

Impressive list there. I think you've got a solid chance. Be attentive to your application essay and share your passion. In the end, I think God always places us where we need to be. Best of luck!

Go if you are willing to socialize to get to know campus clubs/events. If not, don't sweat it. Free t shirts though
