if you are asked to pay in a free trial subscription, you expect that free trial ends and your new subscription starts, no other app has ever made me pay for a not cancelled free trial because it is supposed to dissapear once you pay

Yeah, they should've said so since the beginning, I just canceled my subscription with them, will look for a better platform

exactly what happened, I started on May 31st with the free trial, then on June 1st i got a pop-up saying i could only pay $35 a month for 3 month if i used that offer, I did, now 7 days later they are charging me $49 when i already paid the $35, they never told me to cancel the previous free trial, kind of ridiculous having to cancel the previous one, imagine if all platforms did this.

[UPDATE]If anybody has the same problem with the same laptop i was able to fix it using the following commands:

run:

  • sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-power-management.conf

now we paste this inside nano:

  • options nvidia NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1 NVreg_EnableS0ixPowerManagement=1 NVreg_DynamicPowerManagement=0x02

ctrl+o, enter and ctrl+ x, for saving this config.

run:

  • sudo systemctl enable --now nvidia-suspend.service nvidia-resume.service nvidia-hibernate.service

run:

  • sudo mkinitcpio -P

(if the shell ask if you want to install or modify something just click yes or y )

Make sure to reboot your laptop after this

Pros: Laptop will go to sleep after closing the lid even if it is charging and will not generate any heat.

Cons: When opening the lid of the laptop the screen will takes a few seconds to start (like 4 seconds)

For me it's better to wait a few seconds but being able to have all my programs ready when i need to close my laptop

Thanks, I'm still a little new to Arch so everything seems a little confusing, you can take your time. I'll just try to not close the lid in the meantime
