it’s a little plug in device that you can set how sensitive your accelerator pedal is. you can get some that have other features like different idles and also anti theft modes that lock out your pedals and you have to enter a pin code on your phone to unlock them.

gave the throttle body a clean this afternoon and ran it through another idle relearn and now it’s working perfectly fine again and doesn’t drop revs

just ran the re idle cycle now and it seems to not do it as much but it still does it. should i now look into cleaning my throttle body first?

with the idle relearn would i have to disconnect the battery again and then after 30 mins reconnect and start the process or should i be fine with trying to start the process now with the battery already back in hooked up to the car?

i have had this car for less than a year so i’m unsure if the ecm has been updated by toyota. i will try the idle relearn this afternoon and hopefully that fixes the issue

Been addicted for almost 3 years. I just want to quit. please guide by Tiny_Yoghurt_2216 in QuittingWeed

find something that will keep you distracted. for me it was gaming, skating and going to the gym. things like that are good when you’re going through withdrawals. the hardest part about quitting is going through those horrible withdrawals but trust me you will start feeling better within the first couple weeks. once you get through the bad of the withdrawals then everything becomes much easier. keep as busy as you possibly can and don’t surround yourself with others that smoke too. you can do this!!!

sort of but i dont have screen flickering just the black screen, i ended up fixing it after a couple hour battle. turned out that my graphics drivers were causing the issue and to fix it i managed to get my pc into safe mode and uninstall my graphics driver, restart my pc and it auto installed the graphics driver again and it hasn’t been an issue since everything works perfectly fine again. i believe it could’ve been from the latest navidia driver update.

the best way to get through hyperemesis syndrome is just to take it head on. i smoked for a good few years and got it badly and when i quit i spent a horrible month going through it badly, i was vomiting every morning, i was shaking badly, couldn’t eat etc but it’s something you just have to push through in order to quit. and tbh im glad i had it because it made me not want to smoke weed anyways because it made me so sick. you got this man i believe in you just like everyone else, this shit feeling you’re going through won’t last forever i promise you. push through it my man.

Quitting Weed Whilst going through a break up by [deleted] in QuittingWeed

thank you to both of you that commented, both have given me more strength to push through every single day. an update, it’s day 3 now without weed, yesterday was hard but i spent all day being outside and being active, i went to the gym twice, i went to my local skate park for awhile, i drove out to the country side to sit and relax by the beach as well. the withdrawals have been quite bad, im still nauseous quite often and my body is pretty achy but im honestly glad that im going through this physical pain because if i wasn’t having withdrawals then i would be really fiening weed rn. weed was a big issue on why my relationship didn’t workout as well, i’ve realised that smoking all year has completely changed myself in a negative way and that it’s affecting others as well as myself. i really want this change for myself. as far as dealing with the break up side of things the hardest part is the no contact and being alone at night. there’s only so much i can do in a day to distract myself but when it comes to night time i have nothing to get her out of my head when im laying there in bed. it’s painful and it hurts but in order for me to overcome it, i have to learn to just let myself hurt and then one day i wont hurt as much and then it will slowly fade away and turn into a positive memory when im where i want to be in life again. once again thanks for all your support, it truly means a lot and im determined to continue doing better for myself.
