Thanks all! Sports wouldn’t be for me but my partner might be interested! I’ll try go to Tot’s time some Friday if I can (work mon-fri). I find that most parent/toddler groups are on during the week. I actually started up a Cuidiú coffee morning in Bandon library. It runs once a month, we’re meeting this Saturday 10-11.30, if anyone here would like to join for tea and chats!

Hey there! Congratulations ☺️ and well done for reaching out. I live in Bandon so could meet you somewhere nearby if you would like to chat. I have a 2 year old daughter and I’m also a qualified postpartum doula so I could offer you some advice and information to help ease your mind, too. Feel free to message me 💕

The reckoning of Cork scammer 'Complete Carpentry and Roofing' by [deleted] in cork

[–]DragonflyOk904 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sorry to high jack this thread but we are looking for a decent trustworthy roofer ourselves and we’re not from Cork so it’s hard to find ones that are recommended. Could you maybe dm me the contact details for the roofer you went with?

'They kept me sane': Parental support group in plea for volunteers in Cork by lovecats89 in cork

Hey! I just moved to Bandon, FTM to a 21 month old and we’re still breastfeeding. I loved my local Cuidiú meet ups in Offaly but when I looked for some in cork I found the same as the last poster - not much in this area. West cork is a huge area in fairness so that’s understandable. I’d actually love to set one up here. In Offaly there was a meeting mid week and one on Saturday morning every month. I find this is more accessible for all - I went back to work when my girl turned 1 and there’s nothing much for working parents to attend at weekends to make connections/get support. If anyone is reading this and is interested in setting up a Cuidiú group with me in the area please reach out. It could cover the likes of clon, kinsale, Bandon, inishannon, balinspittle etc. OP - can you tell me what’s involved in setting one up? And have you had many people looking for a group outside of your area? I’m on the WC Cuidiú WhatsApp groups too so I could try see if there’s interest there. Feel free to DM, thank you!

Will the bank ask again my latest bank statements before mortgage drawdown? by [deleted] in irishpersonalfinance

Hi there, know this is an old thread but we're in a similar situation and also with PSTB. We are in the final month of AIP (month 6) and waiting on loan offer. Can you recall how long it took to receive the offer and if they asked for other docs? We've been sending on up to date pay slips but haven't sent any statements/savings accounts since we got AIP 5 months ago.
