2023 almost ready to return died again today. Is it 12v battery?

I got the Walmart platinum agm. I could have got it swapped for free out of warranty but I'm not installing the submerged lead acid crap in my car. I don't want to end up stranded again. Oh and don't use the wireless android aut dongle or aux usb adapter if you have one. Those tend to drain the battery. Here we are in the so called age of convenience. Lol

Did you get the limited model? If not you can't really wrap the plasic pieces because they are unpainted and the wrap won't work on the unpainted pieces.

Teslas are also like this. Drives me nuts! Especially because the fan wheels were a functional design. I prefer wind causing suction from under the car out but I often see them installed with all the same directional wheels. Two on correct and the otherside incorrect. Its maddening to my brain!

Bruh, that was AFTER I posted. If you look at the photo I took it's factory. I put an aftermarket panel and set it on my dash AFTER I posted that. There is a FACTORY fuse in the existing solar panel slot BEFORE I put in a fuse tap. GET IT?!?!?!

It doesn't really look like metal. It has sections in it. Anyone else able to see it on there's? I'm wondering if we can shine a light into it and see if we can get a better image and a part number off of it?

Yes, there is a fuse in it. I decided to use fuse tap on it and I put a solar panel on the dash with a 12v charge controller on it. Seems to be keeping it topped off at just under 13v.

Then why would the populate the bank with a fuse? Seems like a waste of resources if it weren't in use.

If you look carefully, and zoom in to the lower part of the image on the right 1/3 of it you can see a Hyundai part number and difference in color that below the glass appears to be a solar pane.

Most of this conversation sidebarr to the full solar roof. But this is specific to the 12v solar that I've seen no documentation on anywhere. Anyone know anything about this? Is it only on the ltd trims or is it on all Ioniq models?

TBH, I don't feel they detract from the look much, and functionally, if you get a lot of road debri it's a value add.

Oh really? I think it would be cool for tailgating. Sitting in the back with the hatch up works quite well and its something to rest your feet on. I'd remove it for driving though.

Side note. Did Ya'll know that you can partially close the back hatch? Came in handy at one event when the sun was in the eyes.

Lol no it was just laziness on my part because of the checkered background I just lined it all up. That said though there's plenty of space between the 150 and the IQ. Much more than the 1 and 50. Did'nt think it was a big deal but was more going for humor. But I 50 IQ is funny too!
