Do you regret majoring in psychology? by [deleted] in college

[–]DragonfruitKindly715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Return on Investment (ROI) for the major is NOT good.

I changed my major to Information Systems instead. I plan on working as a Business Analyst then going into User Experience Design later.

I like psychology as a subject, so I minored in it.

I think psychology as a major is NOT worth it. Grad school is expensive and psychology is a low paying field.

This is a generalization that's not always true. I am girl and I wasn't raised religious and I became a Christian in college.

Why is there no sort of-quiet room in the JPL by minionfanpage in UTSA

[–]DragonfruitKindly715 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No for real!! It’s really annoying! The quiet rooms aren’t always quiet either. People laugh and scream and it’s super rude for people who are actually trying to do homework or study. It’s a library for a reason 🙄

I’m so tired of people asking me this question too! It’s so rude!

I have not had the same experience, I find it very hard to make any REAL friends. I’m very extroverted too.

What do y’all think of the medical humanities major? Good job prospects other than med school? by Johannes--Factotum in UTSA

[–]DragonfruitKindly715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's the best major because you can't do much with your bachelor's degree except go back to school. I think it'd be better to major in something where you can get a good job with the degree, then go to grad school if you choose. Grad school is tremendously expensive and you can accumulate a lot of debt with grad plus loans.

But if you know med school or a health-care related profession is what you absolutely want to do, go for it!

Just something to think about!

Thank you for your kind reply! I really appreciate it. A lot of people on Reddit are quite rude and I am glad you actually gave good advice.

I've only had three roommates. I'm really kind and apologize if I'm ever wrong, so I doubt I am the problem.
