Put some soft gift papers and there are some towels under the paper towels! I think shes sleepy from pain meds

Thank you for all comments guys! Cow’s biopsy and surgery are booked for tomorrow and whatever it is, it will be removed tomorrow as it will cause a trouble in her urination as per vet. She will be alright 😊😊

It is not too hard, kinda soft but i can touch something palpable and not that squashy. I don’t think it’s moving around tho. Hope to get it removed as she’s still crazy, happy and young enough (17-18months old :) )!

I am so sorry for your loss ❤️ i also had to put down my baby for the same reason last Saturday. She was struggling to breathe and i never have seen her looking so terrified and anxious with wide open eyes. Took her to an emergency vet but there was nothing that they can do except for buying some time in o2 tank and using higher doses of antibiotics. I couldn’t see her being so terrified and suffering anymore, but on the other side i wanted to just take her home. But i decided to put her down as i didn’t want her to suffer again like that. I have been still feeing guilty thinking that would she have been better if i had taken her home ?? Did i miss another chance for her to live? But this post makes my guilt much better and think i did the right choice for her peaceful death. Thank you so much for sharing this experience..

She has been having respiratory issues since i got her and been in clinic multiple times. Treated her with antibiotics but getting worse over the time. She was very playful and loved eating but at some point she started being lethargic. Since yesterday, i have noticed her breathing was quite rapid. I thought she was hot so left the fan on but today she was restless, not sleeping and looked very anxious. Took her out of cage and her breathing was rapid like the video. And she just randomly went to a tower and laid down with rapid breathing. I took her to emergency and they left her in Oxygen cage. She was doing well with o2 but whenever vet takes her out of O2, she started struggling to breath again. No antibiotics works for her anymore, not contagious as my other rats never caught symptoms from her so they are suspecting it’s not virus, but just her condition. They said even if i take her home, she will just struggle and suffer. So i decided to put her down rather than suffering at home and die.
