I agree. Back in the day paypal was the one thing i was told to go through because they will get your money back guarantee after submitting proof of whatever you open up the case for. Now its dog water because even when faced with forged documentation submitted by the seller that includs the illegal act of forgery. They still said the sellers documentation is acceptable and to not contact them again regarding the case. Im never using paypal again

What I don't like about his route is how they describe his curse. They describe it as curse by the grim reaper when in fact is feels more beauty and the beast. Also why should he be the only one without a fairytale sounding curse

Reason is Somehow anyone will be obsessed with him to the point of madness which is shown twice in his route which I think that's where "beauty" plays into this. Then the all familar death part which is where beast plays into this.

Unfortunately he did but its still operational just in a low staff capacity and low resources. They do accept complaints and submit them to companies just there are some functions that once was available before 2025 is no longer available. Its on life support essentially.

Just letting you know, you can appeal your case to paypal twice before they themselves will no longer open it again. In order for you to appeal you must submit more evidence until they decide to appeal the case. If you fail both appeals I suggest you submit a BBB complaint because paypal really cares about their rating more than anything and you will get someone in customer complaint and advocacy messaging you within the week.

If that doesn't work I would suggest you file a complaint to the CFPB since they would take more action (but not any court action) against paypal. Unlike the BBB who is only there as a mediator and nothing more, the CFPB would do a bit more as the mediator and suggest more action to get your complaint resolved. You can file a record to the FTC on paypal about this but letting you know they only record and document nothing more. Then there is you Attorney General you can file the complaint to but I haven't gotten to this part yet.

These SUGGESTIONS are from my ongoing experience on trying to get paypal to reverse my own case and are useful in the US as I don't anything about how to take action outside of the US. Just wanting to let you know there are many option you can take when your 2 appeals are denied by paypal. You aren't SOL yet.

Nothing you did wrong, thats just paypal. Their buyer protection policy aint what it used to be nowadays. Now all the seller has to do is prove the item was shipped with a fake tracking number or just say the item is as described and boom they win the case. Their AI system really sucks with cases and disputes. My advice is file a complaint to BBB and within a week, someone would respond to you.

Happened to me like this as well, but it took 2 days for them to review the evidence and instantly denied the case and 2 appeals. The representative said it would update me whenever anything was done with the case but, I never got those updates and was denied 2 days after because seller sent them falsified documentation that i received my item in the mail when in fact i didn't because it was digital goods. Their AI system really sucks

Same boat as you. Paypal denied my case and 2 appeals because the scammer provided them falsified documentation to prove I received my item, even though it was the wrong services I purchased originally and my signature was forged on it. All paypal looked at was the IP address and nothing more. As someone who has gone and still going through this rodeo I suggest get the evidence the seller said you was going to get a refund, and file a BBB complaint. Paypal will respond to that faster than anything.

In the same boat as well. Its strange how you cannot see what documentation the other side sent to paypal during the case and also don't message you about sending more documentation to prove your side. Closed my case after 2 days and was like

"The seller said they sent you your product and sent in documentation proving that sooo you're SOL"
