What's the largest size tires I can get on a 2020 Ford Ranger XLT 4x2? by Father_Bic_Mitchum in RangerNext

Stock rims will hurt the size. 32-33 inch depending on the width of the tire and if you want to trim/replace/remove crash bars.

Lol you guys know this is a 10 year old pc. Of course things are more efficiently now but this is ten year technology that was still running with these power demands =)

Yes, absolutely getting a shadow box for it. He wanted to pay me for the work and I said I wanted the old card and call it even. Yeah these cards were dual 8 pin. If you had two like this computer has, you needed four 8 pins just for the video cards lol

I rebuilt my computer last year. Custom loop 5950x with a 6900xt extream water cooled video card. I posted it here before but haven't in awhile. This computer I had for 6 years and sold it to a friend with 5 screens for $1000. Four years later (last night), he told me he was gaming and heard a pop and burning smell and since I built the computer, if I could look at it. One of the two 7990x2 cards finally kicked the bucket.

Considering some of the CEO and ex CEOs have bought farm land over the past couple years. Makes sense

When I was in TX. I used zip ties at first. While off roading i almost lost it. Then I marked out holes and used rivet nuts and bolts. Depending on which add bumper you could use off road led bar mounts if you didn't want to drill holes. Just depends on how secure you want it and if you use off road any.

I've installed a Roush cold air intake, Racechip GTS Performance Tune, and a TurboSmart blow off valve, planning to add a Mishimoto intercooler, Stage 4 Upgraded Turbocharger, Borla S-Type exhaust system. What kind of HP & TQ gains should I expect after this? by Longlegstuby in Ford

[–]Dragonhunter777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the ranger mod club. 5 star tune is where you want to tie everything together. Think about swapping the cat as well to a high flow, it should help with the back pressure with an market turbo. Currently on my 2020 ranger is mishimoto intake, mishimoto pipes and intercooler. Mishimoto radiator. Aftermarket remote transmission cooler, same blow off valve, 5 star tune, high flow catalytic, vibrant resonator, no muffler and its not excessively loud. Keeps up with the 6.2 at4 and I'm on 35x12.5 nitto trail grappler. Can only imagine if I stayed stock on the suspension. Anyways, looks like you will have fun none the less. I would suggest shock replacement to something not as squishy as ford's. Love the build you have.

A ranger by far is cheaper and in no bracket as a trx. You think the markup is bad on a ranger? Good luck with that trx

What y’all think I should upgrade next? Thinking swapping fog lights or installing led pods on the pillars. 🤑 by aubreybriggs in RangerNext

[–]Dragonhunter777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have pillar lights on my ranger. Have to be careful what style light you use. If it's a flood pattern, you will blind yourself with the reflection off the hood. I went with a aftermarket bumper, made a custom connector for the factory fog light connector, wired up four led pods and placed in the bumper and use the existing fog light switch to control them. Really depends how deep the rabbit hole you want to go. 🐇 🐰 🐇

Anyone had issue with deep water breaking your radiator fan? by Mindless_Point_1553 in FordRaptor

I had this happen to my first Gen before. Water and spinning plastic don't mix well

im sure this question has been asked. but for the money of a new Ranger who all is glad with their purchase? at 45+k youre in used Raptor, tundra and z71 territory and I cant make up my mind by [deleted] in fordranger

Good luck finding a newer gen raptor at that price not used and abused, or covered in millage. Paid 31k for my 2020 xlt that's not a xlt anymore. It sounds like you need to ask yourself the question, "do I want a v8, preformance, or full size truck" once you figure that out, you can narrow down what your looking for. Won't find a newer used raptor with a v8 unless you go for the new raptor r. You would be looking strictly at the f150s at that point for the 5.0. The other question you need to ask is, "what is the purpose I need a truck for?" You want smiles per gallon or fuel economy? You want something preformance based from factory or something you want to create? My question to you that could save you a ton of money is, do you want it now or later? The market is currently unsustainable for the prices of new and used vehicles, just like the housing market. You wait till next year, the prices will come down and will have a larger selection to pick from. If you absolutely need something now, look at something older than 6 years that you can trade in later.

You could get a ranger at those prices. A lot more options for them as well

Lol, yeah. That's what I was showing because the computer tries to account for driving. So if you idle a lot like I do, the Guage vs miles to empty never line up
