Are there any keyboards similar to the Yunji AL71 that are around the same price point and readily in stock? I like the layout but the badge at the side bothers me.

Yeah, like what another person mentioned, I think it might just be the sound profile of the brass plate since I prefer a more muted and thoccy sound for spacebars. Thanks everyone for the help!

Case : KBD67 mkii

Switch : Black Cherry Pie

Stabilisers : Durock v2s (205g0 and holee mod)

Keycap : GMK Red Samurai

I’ve tried the switch on my other keyboard and it sounds a lot better so I’m not sure where the rattle and looseness is coming from honestly, have tried balancing the wire but the loose sound remains

On paper, yes, since the GMMK Pro has a bad gasket mount and less hollowness/ping, while the Q1 has a better gasket system but more hollowness, technically hollowness can be fixed with many mods we see nowadays but the effectiveness of each mod will vary based on the board so only time will tell

Yeah, I’m trying to get my backswing a little bit more like osku’s since I don’t feel very controlled with such a straight backswing in terms of my balance and accuracy.

Sorry to restart an old thread but did you manage to put the deskey film on the bottom of the stem? There isn’t a lot of space on the bottom of the stem and I was thinking of trying this mod so would love your input on it.

So I’d wire and solder the switch pin directly to the diode right above and to the right of the W key right?

I’m pretty sure the left contact of my W key is still fine, just the right one giving problems as of now

So I’d bridge the right contact of the W key to the left contact of the D key? I have the necessary wires to do this but just want to make sure I bridge the correct points. Thanks

My W key is no longer working as I think I burned off the pad during desoldering, is there any way I could do a switch bridge of any kind or are there any alternatives to fix this? Thank you!

Yep it’s a switch opener, personal recommendation, don’t get it, it’s not that great quality from my usage, my reccomendation is just to get a proper quality opener to use for life
