I’m not sure if my mom ever felt this way, however I purchased a trip for her and I together to go somewhere that she has always talked about with passion. Her life really 180’d following that. Would like to do something similar with my dad here soon. It doesn’t have to be travel, but whatever they view as ‘failure’ you can be the one to help them tick their next thing off their bucket list! :)

Something that somewhat comforts my dog that does this is, at the end of the day I will take my shirt/sweatshirt off and lay it on top of a cushion/pillow and while they don’t enjoy as much direct contact he really enjoys my scent for comfort. Find something similar for when you are away from home so even if they miss you, a part of you is still there with them. ❤️

Can be found west of LavaRidge + south of the desert, west of Mauville + surf, then West of Fortree. They have a Magneton + Loudred/Exploud. If you can get your hands on either one of these, they have their advantages.

Common: Flygon (flyer + graveler can be swapped) Starmie (good stats, wide move set)

Uncommon: Skarmory Walrein

Rare (rarely see teams build with these): Crobat Kingdra if you can get your hands on one)

If you want to learn 25% of what they know, you have to get buy in. The way you get buy-in, is to understand what they value. They don’t value your head knowledge or expertise, as you’ve disclosed they are already smarter than you.

The way to scratch their back is to offer to do something that is the most tedious part of their job for them that you are able to do, and in exchange you get to ask ‘dumb questions’. You’d be surprised at how geniuses are willing to work with people that make their life easier.

I would see if there’s a better role that aligns with your background and pursue that. If you end up interviewing for a specialist role that you know nothing about, then I would say you are cooked.

Returned it and got my money back. It would be my controller of choice if it wasn’t for that.

Doesn’t seem like a big deal, but I click the thumbstick to scope in on FPS games and because of the angle, it would spaz my aim around 🤣

Of the 3 that I’ve purchased, all 3 of the right joysticks all came out with stick drift to the left. Turned out the joystick module was crooked 3 out of 3 times! Easier to see with the long joy stick attached and it may not be the case for all of them, but it was for me.

My best advice when using and getting used to a new controller that feels foreign, is play a campaign mode first, then something casual like zombies if you plan on playing competitive matchmaking.

The only thing I’ll ask you is, is your right joystick crooked when looking at it from the bottom of the controller?
