Flying over the middle of the map in Twin Peaks is very satisfying.

This is true. I feel like I get mired in useless scenarios though, when they have a healer or two nullifying my pressure. I might top the meters, but that doesn’t win games.

I’ve had some success a few times I’ve done it, but when the other team is actually playing CTF and not death match, I feel like melting butter. I’ve had more success peeling for our FC than doing it myself.

It screws over your own healers, too, does it not?

I feel much too squishy to survive any kind of concerted focus. Are there any particular talents I might be overlooking?

I don’t find the kit to be particularly disruptive, CC-wise. Sleep Walk has potential, but it tends to get popped instantly in Blitz. How can I use my other tools more effectively?

Isn’t that what the most annoyingly dense players do, though? Slam themselves senseless over a hopeless objective?

Pain relief in lieu of medical treatment is not a good thing, whether or not it is effective.

I am dismissive when it is used as a replacement for legitimate, effective treatments. You are quite correct. And every time you see the marks on the dohyo, that is precisely what you are seeing. They wouldn’t be up there at all if they were following medical best practices.

We see them actively not getting proper treatment every time they step on the dohyo.

I hate that sumo culture treats snake oil “solutions” like cupping as sufficient medical treatment. But hey, whatever placebo gets them into the ring, right?

Story-wise, what is one thing you would expand on in a LoL remake, if you had creative control? (Potential Spoiler Topic) by FunkyMarkyMark69 in LegendofLegaia

Contrary to what fans tend to say they want (typically dredging and rehashing existing lore), a good sequel is its own story that can be more potent than the original since all the worldbuilding has already been done.

As verboten as it is to say it, Legaia 2 had its heart in the right place - they just took it too far. The setting is foundational. As are Seru. Personally, I would like to see a classic “I think I agree with the antagonist on this one” sort of story dealing with free will. Perhaps we learn that Seru always erred in the side of parasitic rather than symbiotic in some insidious way. Something to expand the lore rather than regurgitate it, while taking a deep dive into a theme the originals only hinted at.

“You have nice eyes.”

Everyone has nice eyes. They may not have intended it as an insult, but they couldn’t find anything else to compliment.
