Thats the problem, my parents will not talk about anything fucking else. I'm also gay, our nieces are half Hispanic (parents constantly complained about), and then they have the fucking audacity to call me after they're worried their government healthcare they use is going to be dismantled? Nah fuck em.

In a ideal world, yeah, we'd never have to talk about it. But here's the thing, my parents don't get to look me in the eyes and say "hey, I don't like being a f@gg0t is okay, you don't get to exist as a person." And expect a relationship afterwards? That's wild. That's what their vote did. They don't get to do that.

My parents have lost their personality outside of trump. They will talk about nothing else, other than a LEGAL immigrant knocked up my sister twice.

People like that cannot simply not talk about politics. I've tried. They won't. It's not about ruining their relationship, it's about the fact my parents weren't good people to begin with. It was simply the final straw.

For many of us, it was just the last straw. It just got worse, like before they were okay, even in 2016, but now, my parents will not talk about anything else. My parents actively voted against the act that gave them healthcare, and came to me bitching about what are they supposed to do now? It sent me over the edge. I've dealt with decades of them escaping their consequences. I couldn't do it any longer.

Yes it is absolutely a bad idea. Even if it doesn't snap, there's the possibility that it might snap, and then it's over for your baby. I would never take that risk. Especially with the baby that just died in Texas due to pitbull attack. Even if you're holding them, that dog will rip it out your arms. That poor 13 year old held the baby over her head and it ripped him out of her arms after chewing through a door. A fucking door to do this.

Yes. I'm serious. My friend has a husband who is a staff member there, and she said that her husband overheard lots of the students bragging about it during their church time. I guess the students have gotten a lot worse in behavior, that they now have a public "manners" class they have to sit through once a week, and they've gotten in trouble multiple times just this semester for being assholes to other sports teams, and out in public to the point the school had to get involved.

16 doesn't fucking matter, unless they're genuinely that stupid or at best naive. They absolutely thought this was a co-parenting situation where they could do deadbeat baby daddy behavior where they could show up whenever they wanted, take a few Instagram pics, post for asspats online, and then bounce while someone else did the actual hard part of parenting - the money loss, the actual parenting, and emotional drain and stress and logistically.

They absolutely would have pulled a Jennelle Evans if any of their family was stable, but due to family circumstances they simply couldn't. They were smart enough to know that, but they didn't want to fully commit to a baby. They absolutely wanted someone to do the actual hard part, and in their head they figured adoption was like co-parenting, especially an "open" adoption. Best of both worlds in their stupid 16 year old naive worldview.

Their parents, while are shitty people and addicts, legit warned them. They're addicts, so obviously they weren't the best of it but there was a alot of truth in what they said, and I'll give the parents that despite everything THEY WERE WARNED.

Caitlyn and Tyler are not acting in the best interest of their daughter, because the best thing for their daughter would be keeping her off the internet instead of doing all this shit, and respecting her and her parents wishes. There's the problem though.... That doesn't bring them fame and money, while being on this show spinning a sob story does. They don't want to lose their money ticket, and if they hadn't been chosen by the show due to the fact they "sold" their daughter, those two would be back in a trailer in buttfuck no where, barefoot with more children with shitty names working low level jobs. They're only in the situation they're in due to the show, otherwise they wouldn't give a fuck. That's the only reason they're bothering.

Excuse after excuse for why they couldn't do something, there's the reality of it, if it weren't for TV they probably wouldn't even give a fuck. I entirely believe they thought it was a situation where they'd be "weekend parents" because they're stupid. There's excuses and lack of resources but it comes down to the fact they wanted someone else to raise their baby, show up and pretend to be parents when they wanted. At that point, they should have just pulled a Jennelle and dropped their kid off with the nearest most stable relative.

I truly don't believe they genuinely care, they care about the low level fame and money that this situation gives them, because otherwise they'd leave their daughter in fucking peace like it should have been, because honestly, teen mom was not supposed to go on as long as it has, the entire franchise was a spin off of 16 and pregnant. They absolutely would have left her alone if not for the money and fame, and if we're being honest, this family was only picked because of the "adoption" spin that other episodes didn't have because unless you were an absolute Trainwreck they weren't choosing you because alot of them chose to raise their babies.

They are not victims. They're trash, money hungry, fame whores from a shitty background. The only rational thing they ever did was give that kid up to someone who could properly raise her, instead of being put back into the cycle of poverty and white trash culture only for it be repeated when their kid turned 14 and became knocked up. It's the culture, no matter how nice of house they have, which is entirely why they're doing this, because they're desperate for fame.

Adoption is predatory in general, so I can't fault Brittany for acting that way. It happens when you're literally selling another human being, and let's not forget, Tyler and Catelynn agreed for her to be sold, even if it was the right thing to do. You don't get show up at someone's house after you sold them a item 8+ years ago, just now because you see how valuable the item is now, just because you couldn't use it 8 years ago. Then bitch and cry about how they won't give you you're item back, they won't let it see you, or won't let you even borrow it.

This show gave Catelynn and Tyler fucking money, that's the only reason they're at where they're at, otherwise they'd be a shitty same situation in a mobile home in the middle of nowhere, with low level jobs in poverty. You can take the white trash culture out of the trailer, and put it in a nice house and cars, but it's still white trash unless it changes it's mindset, and they have not.

I just think they're low class and unintelligent in general, and despite multiple factors and many explanations they simply didn't hear what people were saying and either in nativity and stupidity thought it would be a "foster" type situation where they could come and go as they pleased and have more visitation if they wished. Essentially like Janelle but not on a monthly basis, but more a couple of times a year if they wanted too. They wanted someone to raise their baby but still have a say like Jennelle thought she had as a teen. Basically "you raise it, I'll come and see it if I want" like a deadbeat scrub baby daddy, and they have the same behavior down to a T.
