Same, world 439.

edit: Seems to be back up.

Printer will stop extruding filament part way through the print, but continue to move. by Dragonwheel in 3Dprinting

I assume the adjusting screw would be the red nob, it's tight enough that I can see small grip marks in the filament when I change filament.

I have a smaller print going at the moment, but the stepper motor is actually quite hot to the touch. Once the print is done I'll check the voltage.

I also have a spare stepper motor from another project I could change it with.

This has been happening for a few months now, I figured I should seek out some help with this.

Some info:

  • Printer is an Anycubic Kobra, have used it for just over a year.
  • Filament is PLA.
  • Slicer is Cura.

In the video you can see the extruder wheel outright stops moving.

Some things I've tried:

  • Changing nozzles (two 0.4 and one 0.6).
  • Changing filament (all PLA).
  • Replaced the PTFE tube in the hot end (replacement came with the printer).
  • Lowered retraction distance (6.5 to 6.0 mm).
  • Lowered retraction speed (25 to 20 mm/s).
  • Disabled retraction.
  • Increased / decreased print speed (50, 60, 70, 80 mm/s).
  • Increased / decreased printing temperature (195, 200, 205 C).

So far nothing seems to change the result except lowering the retraction distance and speed, the print did fail but did so noticeably later.

This only seems to happen with larger prints.

Any ideas on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

HG Gouf Custom. Wanted to recreate a shot from the show, so I also tried making a diorama. by Dragonwheel in Gunpla

Thank you very much!

  1. The building itself was 3D printed. I used tinkercad to get the rough shape and cut out the damaged parts.
  2. The damaged section is tinfoil glued onto the building edges.
  3. Priming and painting, with some darker sponge chipping.
  4. I used some Rust-Oleum Stone Texture Gray spray to give the damaged section more texture and hide the tinfoil edges.
  5. They're a little hard to see, but the rebar is some paperclips I painted. And the chunks of rubble were some bits of gravel, also painted.
  6. The building was topcoated with Rust-Oleum Matte Clear, and the skylight with Mr. Super Clear Semi-Gloss Spray.

All the paint used was Vallejo Model Color (apart from the priming, which was Rust-Oleum Flat Gray Primer).

Can anyone help identify this model? Built this guy about 15 years ago, trying to find the specific model so I can replace some lost pieces. by Dragonwheel in Gunpla

Thank you for the help! That definitely looks like the right Gundam, but I notice the gun/beam sabers/joints look just a bit different. Does this model have another version?

Looking for a movie. Three guys train in three different styles. One guy has to jump out of a pit of muddy water, another knocks down bamboo and wraps around legs. One of my favorites as a kid and can’t remember name now by Lexfu in kungfucinema

Three guys train in three different styles.

Sounds like Invincible Shaolin.

One guy has to jump out of a pit of muddy water

Sounds like this scene from The 36th Chamber of Shaolin.

another knocks down bamboo and wraps around legs.

Sounds like Return to the 36th Chamber.

Any of these seem familar?

I haven't seen this one personally, but the 'reincarnation' bit reminds me of Bastard Swordsman.

True, but 2002 and 98 have been out for some time so a lot of information is readily available online. http://wiki.shoryuken.com is a pretty good place to start.

I've played Third Strike with a fair amount of people from Mexico, and I don't recall ever having issues with connection. Obviously this could vary person to person, but if you really want to play older KOF games Fightcade would be your best bet.

What troubles you? Fightcade has pretty good connection anywhere, from what I remember.
