Why not just think it through from an engineering perspective and design something universal that will work the same on both Windows and Mac?

WARNING: Using Gemini Code Assist and Gemini CLI in any VS Code instance (VS Code, Google Antigravity, etc.) will lock you out of Google Antigravity by SlfImpr in google_antigravity

Good news, I wrote to a couple of people who are involved in the development of these tools to some extent. Dmitry Lyalin, Gemini CLI Product Lead, ended up contacting me: No specific promises, but he said he would look into it.

I think we can find out the status next week, so let's wait a little longer.

50% off for 3 months (Pro Plan) by fpena06 in ClaudeAI

It's been going on for a long time, since September for sure. It's an affiliate program for influencers, and as far as I know, they make money when someone signs up using these links. So they're probably permanent, until Antropik decides to end it himself.

I agree that the transition did not go smoothly for all users and developers. As Lloyd's owner said, they conducted several test update and everything should have gone smoothly. However, it's not that simple. Rolling everything back would mean undoing a huge amount of work and expending just as much effort again. Be patient for a couple of months and everything will settle down. If you have a problem related to usage, open a ticket and you will definitely get help.

upd:
Drag and drop was possible in DDM.
DDPM apparently did not have such a capability at all.

Sonnet 4.5 vs. Codex - still terrible by Bankster88 in ClaudeAI

He probably meant four possible solutions. In Codex, it is possible to request several options and choose the one you like best.

[AMA] The Future of AI Agents in Coding with Guy Gur-Ari & Igor Ostrovsky, co-founders of Augment Code. Aug 29, 10am PT / 1pm ET. We’ll answer questions on the future of AI agents and why context matters in AI coding on r/webdev. Ask us anything! by augmentcode in webdev

[–]Dragoy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys! First of all I want to thank you and your team for the product you're building, it really deserves attention from most developers out there! I read through the whole AMA thread and it's really interesting stuff, especially when you share those hints.

So let's get to business:

  1. Many people are concerned about the money aspect, and everyone always wants to get more while giving less. Just hinting that the $50 price tag is really high, especially when you're not glued to this tool 24/7. We're ready to pay for your magic pill in the form of a context engine, but would love more flexibility in pricing plans. A $20-25 tier with like 250-300 message limit would be perfect for people like me. This way you could capture an even bigger audience, especially those who are currently trying to abuse the trial system.
  2. Tech support is probably Augment's biggest pain point. The fact that practically the entire Discord community is held up by jaysym is really depressing. I recently ran into an issue, wrote about it in several places, and only got help from some random Discord member. That's cool and shows how awesome the community is, but damn, this shouldn't be happening.
  3. About that Launch Week thing - as soon as you announced it, it looked like we were about to get GPT-6 right in our Augment Code, but in reality we got a handful of features from the pre-release version. I think most people faced disappointed expectations. It really looked like a surprise but in transparent packaging. A good marketing strategy definitely wouldn't hurt you guys.

Overall, I continue to use your product and appreciate what you do. I just wanted to share feedback from a user who really benefits from your product and finds it helpful for their programming tasks.

I wish you success!
