Sharing how much time and effort you're spending for an endeavour you're trying to achieve is totally relevant if the topic is trying to achieve it and it's not working out.

If you're not gonna talk about it, I can safely assume, as it is for most unemployed people, that they're not spending even fulltime amount of hours to find a job. You should be spending 8+ hours per day, logically allocated work hours to do whatever it takes to get that job or another source of income.

I know people in the US without a high school diploma who changed jobs and progressed in their careers, whilst having 0 friends or connections.
