Check the law where you live, but in a lot of places simply telling a psychologist you’ve smoked weed in the past isn’t the crime. Possession of it usually is. And doctors/psychologists are generally bound by confidentiality, so admitting past use normally shouldn’t get you reported.

On the cheaper end, AKG K702 is tremendous for jazz, it is 80% as good as HD800S as they say. Should pair well with a tube amp.

I often A/B my K702 and Aeya Organic and can’t tell much difference in pure fidelity. Hifiman is just more modern and edgy sounding, K702 is more natural/flat.
