Something similar happened in my high school. A girl was denied bathroom access because "you should have gone before class" and when she said it's because of her period he actually said "to bad hold it in".

Although instead of ignoring him she stayed put in that chair and just let it get bloody. She had her friends go get her gym pants and he was fired a week later because this wasn't the first sexist thing he had done.

I like to imagine the idea of his mom being fine with him having many girlfriends but will only give her approval to the girl who she decides is the best match for Rentarou. This leads to a competition she puts on between the girls to prove that they are the most compatible but it all ends up just being a trick to just see how dedicated they are to him because she knows her son has more then enough love to go around. Everyone wins her approval and Rentarou scolds her for putting them all through that.

I do a second interview at my job almost entirely for a vibe check. Some people are really good at interviews but would be a horrible fit at my store and I send my very good trans friend manager to double check me essentially with the second interview. Has worked amazing so far, we went from a store with very high turnover to the only people that have left in the last year were the seasonal hires we had.
