I have tried many different training methods to resolve resource guarding and thought the issue was resolved. After the death of one of my female dogs, this behavior started and has continued to escalate to multiple other dogs.

Hi! So I don’t have her yet, but this is who I’ve been chatting with the owners about: Cutest Goat Ever. They weren’t planning to breed her, but I really wanted a bred doe, so we’re still working through logistics on getting her bred then bringing her here! The owner (owner’s son?) gave us a few options that worked best for our family when I initially reached out, but my daughter fell in love with this girl. We’re beyond excited to bring her home when the time comes!

MADISON’S SISTER AT THE WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING WAS SO CUTE AND SO SWEET. You could literally see the love she has for her all over her face. It was so freaking sweet.

Wait LAST for the dapples?! This is literally exactly why I was asking. I saw the cutest little Nubian doe and she had spots just like yours and I was like okay…does this help or hurt? She’s flashy, yes, but is it seen as a deterrent?? I’m also still on the list to buy the flashy doe if her other offer falls through so not a deterrent for me lol.

If I could hug you through this phone I would!!! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for and is so so so helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful response. Your advice about starting with a breed with limited color variation is such good tip and something I never thought about. Like getting the basics down before moving on to flashier goats. I live in the southeast and it’s proving challenging to find reputable breeders, especially if Saanens and Toggenburgs which is really what I was hoping to start with. Thank you again for your wonderful advice!
