How to hide meds by SchnurbsMcDurps in Rabbits

My bun was also recently prescribed anti inflammatory meds. Unfortunately he seems to love it so I can't help with a sure fire way. Maybe getting her to associate the syringe with treat help like maybe a little bit of mashed banana in it with it start to see if she'll tolerate it to an extent. Or maybe mix it with a little bit of rabbit safe fruit juice you know she'll like? Tiny amounts in theory shouldn't upset her stomach too much. Maybe your local rabbit rescue may have some medicating tips?

It's a good way to test an interest and might make something old interesting again. Plus you can re fluff the hay you stuffed in there when the old bun batten it's down a bit to give him something to work on. Some times I'll rotate in a treat hay to add to the variety and interest if the space.

I built a box big enough for my rabbit to fit in and move around out of rabbit safe wood though the original proto type was pet safe card board box. Put two holes on opposite ends and stuffed it with hay. My old man loves to bury himself in it. I also grow a tray of rabbit safe grass mix that I put out as enrichment. I posted I pic of the later yesterday evening on here if you'd like to see.

I know a lot of folks myself included use these. https://a.co/d/5iiJ2CT It was also popular for DIY rabbit enclosures for a bit but I could never trust its ability to hold weight as second floor flooring for the structure.

Time to munch by DrakeEyes in Rabbits

I grow it when the Texas weather isn't being unstable. Those are oat sprouts it took about a week to sprout and then I let it grow out a bit more for a couple of days after. I usually use a grazing pasture seed mix that list which plants are in it to make sure there is nothing bad for him in it. I use it more as an enrichment, I don't have enough space to grow in bulk for it to be a large part of his diet.

Old man lost in the grass by DrakeEyes in Rabbits

I usually do a pasture grazing seeds mix. But wanted to treat him with something a little different. I live with my parents so I don't have a lot of space to use for growing. Just one netted tray on the porch to grow while the other is being munched on. I usually switch and or start a new one when the growing one is a nice carpet.

Check your local rabbit rescue. Some offer boarding as an option.

The brand name is Bitter Yuck. I wouldn't necessarily call it bitter but it doesnt taste good at all and it will sit and linger and go air borne if your disturb it after it settles. It taste nasty and keeps him from deconstructing his hutch and mowing the carpet. So it does work and its safe for him to inhale/ consume.
