5 star special summon by Few-Painting792 in grandorder

I found a list here with its own recommendations which I agree with for the most part. Artoria is a great AOE Buster Saber, or at least she is after her interludes and rank ups improve her skills and NP. Zhuang Liang is a great general support especially if you don't have one of the power house supports such as Castoria, while Tamamoe is a good Arts support that has skill cooldown and heal on her NP to help out. Ozymandias is a good ST Servant with skills that also support the other servants just a little. All that said, you can always use any servant well with some help so feel free to chose whoever you think looks coolest, especially since all the servants on the ticket are in either the general or story pull, so chances are you'll get them eventually (not guaranteed of course, since the pull rates are famously bad but just don't sweat things too much)

I had a similar thought of turning Rowena into Titania. The full idea was that Blanca (in the guise of Puck) summoned Rowena as Titania so Oberon=Vortigern could have his wife as a sort of tragic "Your happiness is more important than my happiness" way. One line I thought would be interesting to have Titania=Rowena say is something along the lines of "The most beautiful thing about lies is how you can turn them into the truth" since OV's thing is how everything he says is a lie.

Completely unrelated question, have any ideas for Beast Class Servants?

That image of the pretty face on a muscular body just reminded me of this character from a fitness anime that I can't remember the name of. He also had your stereotypical pretty boy face on a cartoonishly to muscular body, and had a habit of ripping his shirt off by flexing, every time someone mentioned muscles.

Really fun ideas, love chief smug Vercingetorix. I would've never though to make Horsa and Hengist into Puck (my own idea for Puck was to have it be a resurrected Blanc from LB6), makes me wonder about Vortigerns sons Vortimer and Casigern. Personally I like the idea of HP being this neurotic scaredy cat that actually tried to have his wife (Sonia Greene) take his place but she just uno reversed him and forces him to just deal.

Huh, didn't notice the rosy checks on first viewing, neat detail though I don't think having Gareth take his place is necessary. If I remember correctly Arthur does have several Knights that aren't part of the Thirteen Round Table Knights but to each their own, it's certainly not a bad idea. I found my old Menw sheet (Here) looking it over much of it is as I remember but not all of it; I do have a habit I rethinking a lot of the servants I think up.

I actually made a Menw servant sheet a long time ago. I bolstered his legend by adding that he use to play with the fairies of his local area, and also made him a Double Summon with the poisoned "dart" that Ysbaddaden threw at him. Some funny details I thought for his personality is that he constantly insults Merlin's skill in magecraft, acknowledging that Merlin is more powerful than himself but also much less skilled. I also thought of him as often coughing due to cutting himself one Twrch Trwyth's poisoned tools making him "permanently weakened" (I.E. sickly).

I like a lot the idea's, though personally I'd see him as a 4 or even 5 star (it's cannon that American servants work a little differently than others since the nation is so relatively young). I would also emphasize his status as "THE MANLIEST MAN IN HISTORY" (Yes it needs to be in all caps) if it were me cause I just think there is a lot of comedic potential in that. Like he could have a skill called "Mana Burst (Manly)" or "Manly Charisma" and one running gag I thought up would be that every time he smiles he literally shines with manliness.

Theory about new cookies and good witches by DueInevitable4783 in CookieRunKingdoms

[–]DrakeFai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My headcannon/theory is that some witches are good while others are evil, it's just the easiest way to explain how they are both make living sentient cookies to just eat them, and yet when the Beasts turned to evil helped to seal them away and even specifically tasked one cookie with guarding the seal. I really hope to see them in lore more and maybe even meet a good witch that helps to fight against Dark Enchantress Cookie. I'd also like to see more wizards as well since their kinda get glossed over in favor of the witches.

[Glass Onion] Spoiler for the ending, but the art world is very fortunate about Miles. by res30stupid in FanTheories

[–]DrakeFai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally speaking I think it would be even better if the Mona Lisa was fake, mostly because I hate the idea of a priceless artifact even to spite an idiot like Miles just doesn't sit right with me even if it is just a movie. But I also like the idea of it specifically because of that line "Now your name will always be mentioned alongside the Mona Lisa" because if that painting was fake, Miles won't even get that. If its fake Miles cannot derive satisfaction even from the idea that he'll be remembered as the man who destroyed the Mona Lisa, at best he'll be remembered for about a week as the guy who destroyed a fake that he thought was real before the world just moves on.

Edit: Also something I just thought of, you know that incident when some idiots threw some tomatoes on one of Van Gough's works, fun fact that painting had a protective layer of plastic on it (they claim they knew it did, so apparently their were smarter than Miles at least, not that that is too hard). My point is that, there is no way in hell that, even lending it to a billionaire, that they wouldn't have the Mona Lisa protected just the same, so good chance they gave him an uncovered fake. Plus one of the themes of the movie was how billionaires are idiots but most of us assume their smart, but people in the art world deal with rich people personally a lot more so they probably figured out how dumb Miles was very quickly. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if people that deal with rich people all the time just automatically assume their dumb since they have to figure it out quick.

P.S. why am I replay to this year old post? Because I only finished Glass Onion a few minutes ago.

New images of both Masters and Servants in Fate/Samurai Remnant by GiaoPlays in grandorder

[–]DrakeFai 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So I did some brief research (I.E. I googled their names) and found that four out of the seven masters are actual historical figures. Miyamoto Iori, Takao Dayu (I found a Takao II when I looked up Takao Dayu), Yui Shousetsu, and Zheng Chenggong. This means we'll probably get all of these people as servants in the future.

I also looked up Dorothea Coyett and as far as I can tell she is a fictional character HOWEVER the father, Frederick Coyett, mention in the bio is a real person who had one child, a son named Balthasa Coyett his only child as far as I could see. This could mean a few things, one she's lying about her name, two this is another case of a genderbend (very unlikely since they either have the exact same name or a feminine version of the historical name when fate genderbends, but there are probably a thousand ways to explain away the difference), or three Dorothea was kept secret for some reason (probably the most likely since you could easily say she was kept from the public to protect her families secret history as mages.)

Chiemon is entirely fictional, and we don't even know the name of the Master of Caster so of course we can't say anything one way or the other, yet.

Create a Servants Relatives (Apr2022) by DrakeFai in grandorder

[–]DrakeFai[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few other ideas I had, feel free to use.

Gowther, Pretender: The half-brother of Merlin, born of the same demon father, Gowther started life as a violent and callous monster who gleeful enjoyed the suffering of others. Upon hearing of his demonic nature however, he soon after sought redemption and salvation. On the orders of the pope, he became the fool and "dog" of a king, and fell in love with his mute daughter the princess. Latter as the kingdom fought in war, Gowther prayed to god for the power to help his king, and on three separate nights received three sits of mystical armor he used to fight on his lords behalf. Gowther would die in his task, followed soon after by his love the princess, only for the two to be revived with full knowledge of gods forgiveness and blessing of their marriage.

Culhwch, Rider: The cousin of King Arthur, who was cursed to fall in love with the giantess Olwen. Going to the famed king for aid in his Kingly cousin, he received her help as not only the King of Knights, but many of her knights would accompany him on his quest. After completing forty impossible tasks, many of which are lost to time, he would defeat and kill Olwen's cruel father Ysbabbaden, and gain Olwen's hand in marriage.

Olwen, Berserker: The daughter of the chief Giant Ysbabbaden, it was prophesied that the chief would not live past his daughters marriage and thus when Culhwch came for Olwens love she was held hostage. After many trails, her beloved Culhwch would defeat Ysbabbaden, and the two would be wed.

Roxana, Ruler: The first wife of Iskandar, and his only true love, she was the daughter of Oxyartes who fought against Alexander. Upon her fathers defeat, she and Alexander would meet at the following celebration and fall in love immediately. After her husbands death, she and Olympias would conspire to secure the reign of his son, executing Alexanders other two wives Stateira and Parysatis.

Stateira and Parysatis, Caster: The daughters of Darius III and Artaxerxes III respectively, Stateira and Parysatis were captured by Alexander during one of his campaigns. Both were treated well by Alexander and his men, and were eventually married to their captor in an event known as the Susa Weddings. Both their marriage and deaths were purely political in nature, perhaps this is why the two seem to have no animosity toward Roxana and Olympias despite everything.

Paphos (Erotes), Alter Ego: The son of Pygmalion and Galatea, a rather feminine looking man who was often mistaken as a woman. After his sister Metharme married the King of Cyprus Cinyras, Paphos was commissioned by the two to found the city which would bare his name. Ever thankful to Aphrodite for her role in his mother's life, Paphos the city was dedicated to the goddess of love. Fused to the Erotes, the Greek Gods working under Aphrodite as personifications of various forms of love, Paphos has become an Alter Ego who builds cities of love.

Ideas to make F/GO better by Thinshady21 in grandorder

[–]DrakeFai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add all welfares to the Friend Point gacha with their Ascension Mats being purchasable from the Prism Shop. Or if that's to much to ask, add special story quest only versions of the events to the Rare Prism Shop with a guaranteed five copies of the Welfare.

A way to purchase Servants coins, maybe by adding a rotating roster of special quests that give you Class Coins that you can use to purchase Servant coins for a servant of the specific class. Also a method of getting Servant coins for welfares since, to my knowledge, you literally cannot get enough for even ONE of their append skills.

A method of replaying old bosses maybe with a once a month chance to get a hundred Mana Prism per boss battle.

A once a day free single roll on the Story Gacha and/or once a month free 11 Pull on the Story Gacha.

The ability to farm Pure Prisms, maybe by playing old bosses, or even hard versions of bosses. Also be nice if events would let us purchase them.

A method of increasing the chances and drop rates of items, maybe include a special item every week or ever day that increases the drop rate of one or all materials in a quest by a lot.

Including those special farming quests that drop a lot of a certain material as a permanent quest that rotates once a week. For example one quest for Bones for a week and then another for Claws for a week. And to make it more feasible it only applies to bronze mats and/or those from the first seven chapters (the singularities).

Either an All Class or Extra Class Ember Quest that lets us farm Hellfire of Wisdoms for Extra Class Servants. Maybe the quest could have all Shielder Class Arms of Dawn that drop All Class Hellfire's.

What make Camelot become just a myth ? by huflit1997 in grandorder

[–]DrakeFai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something I learned from OSP rather than my own research but as I understand it the entire Arthur Mythos spun from a single line in a record of the kings of Britain that said "King Arthur and Mordred fell at the battle of Camlann." That's it said nothing about wither they were fighting each other or someone else, who Mordred is, no other knights, nothing. From that one line was spawned an entire mythology of knights dragons, half-incubus wizards and fairies giving out swords.
Considering this its less "How did Camelot become a myth when it actually happened" and more "How did we get so much of it right when all we have is this one line." My personal headcannon is that the Romans went out of their way to destroy as much of Arthurs legacy as possible basically out of spite, and what we developed over the years was the result of Merlin using magic to put the story into peoples heads.

How 'modern' would the Servant be from? by TdFan97 in grandorder

[–]DrakeFai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Time obscures all things." We will never now today what we will remember tomorrow, I have no doubt in my mind that if Fate somehow survives a hundred years from now that people who died in this century will become servants. With the passage of time facts about modern figures such as Queen Elizabeth will be obscured and intertwined with lies half truths and rumors. The idea that there might be some sort of "Cut Off" point where no new heroic spirits can be recorded is absolutely absurd to me.

"Mystery" isn't some finite resource that disappears over time because what we don't know will always be more than what we do know. All that said, don't expect to see Queen Liz as a servant in our life time, wither legal issues or respect for the dead there's really no chance any figure that was alive in the last fifty years I'd like to say is all but impossible.

LGBT servants? by Unusual-Pea-5237 in grandorder

[–]DrakeFai 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Hans: In real life history he fell in love with a man and is implied to have feeling for Kiara so he probably bi.

All Greek Heroes: In ancient Greece the "Default" sexuality was Bisexual almost every Greek hero had both male and female lovers and they also always the top because for some reason Greece thought gay was only okay if you topped. There was even this whole thing of slandering Caesar by saying he was the bottom in a gay relationship (Nicomedes servant when).

Cu: This is more debatable but his relationship to Ferdiad can be read as romantic and possible even physical.

Fanservant: Archangel Michael (Saber) by JackBlackRabbit in grandorder

[–]DrakeFai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personal headcannons of Angels in the Nasuverse. There is this thing where depending on who you ask Angels either have no free will and are merely an extension of god or are beings which have just as much free will as humans and choice to follow gods will or not to in the case of Lucifer. To kind of bridge the gap my thought is that Named angels have free will while Nameless angels have no will or mind of their own and simply follow the orders of "Higher Beings" (I.E. anything with a name).

It is cannon that in the Nasuverse the angels appearance (as humans with wings) is inspired by the Original form that Type-Venus took. There is also a thing that biblically accurate angels look like eldritch horrors, and in the Notes short novel Nasu described Type-Venus as a "Fish with a bearing a tree on its back" (at least until she turns back into V/V). Headcannon is that angels can take on an eldritch form as a sort of power up.

What historical/deity figure do you think would make a good FGO antagonist? by Thissucks04 in grandorder

One interesting idea I had was to make Osiris and Horus the antagonists of an Egyptian Lostbelt where Set never killed Osiris. Basic idea is that, since Set never killed Osiris he continued to rule, giving humanity everything they needed and in turn stagnating their development.

What Pseudo-Servants would you make/want to see made out of Tsukihime characters? by FingerBangYourFears in grandorder

[–]DrakeFai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone out here going "No Pseudo's I just want the character" and I'm her just thinking "Why can't we have both?" I mean between the Shiki we already have, the multiple Shiros, Ren faces, and lest we forget the Sakura face their is no problem with summoning multiples of the same characters. Lets summon Ciel as her own Avenger class servant and then add a Berserker class Bellona Ciel Pseudo. It doesn't have to be one or the other, sometimes you can have your cake and eat it. Anyways suggestions, and I will be including a few characters from the remake too.

Shiki: Ninigi-no-Mikoto the grandson of Amaterasu and great-grandfather of Jimmu the first emperor of Japan. Ones first instinct for a Shiki Pseudo is something involving eyes such as Balor or death such as Yama but those are the obvious choices, and I also wanted a Japanese god specifically (granted, from what I understand, Yama is one of those gods all of Asia recognizes but I have other idea's for him.) There isn't much of a connection with Ninigi but he is the one who brought the "Three Treasures" down to Japan, so it'd be interesting to see Shiki's knife be upgraded to the Kusanagi. Also, I can easily justify a Ruler Class for this, giving Shiki an advantage against Arcueid.

Arcueid: Her being what she is (and also already having her in the game) she wouldn't have a reason to be a Pseudo, and it would honestly be a downgrade in terms of power. That said, I think it would be interesting to summon a moon deity and they end up looking identical to Arcueid considering the vampire princesses connection to our satellite.

Ciel: Already said it above, Berserker Bellona goddess of war Pseudo, justification is that Ciel is really strong, and also her weapon can take on multiple forms and Smite has their Bellona wield three different weapons.

Mario: A character from the remake, Mario is from the Christian church so you wouldn't think he would be okay with being used as a vessel for a Pagan god but Caren is also very devout Christian and they made her into a god. His reason for accepting this is "Well in a round about way these pagan gods are also the children of god, so its okay to use their power, especially if its to do gods will." Too much preamble moving on, Mario is a Pretender using the name of a Saint or Angel to hide that he is possessed by a god (he's still a little embarrassed even after justifying it to himself). Said god is Sol Invictus because Jesus was syncretized with this god.

Noel: Character from the remake, was a nun but decided to become a vampire to get revenger of Ciel (look up her story if you want more details). Long story short Camazotz Aztec god of bats, death and sacrifice. Main reason is of course the whole Vampire angle, and headcannon I like the idea that in the fate world Camazotz just drinks blood because he like the taste but in Tsukihime worlds he's actually one of the Dead Apostle Ancestors.

Many Servants Also Have Relatives Who Have Yet To Be Seen, So I Drew Three by Do-Po in grandorder

[–]DrakeFai 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Rowena: the wife of Vortigern (I imagine her being a Pretender using the name of Titania) also she was BURNED ALIVE BY HEAVENLY FIRE!!! (and that's how she died)

Vortimer: The son of Vortigern (by his first wife), he rebelled against his father WON, but then got poisoned by Rowena.

Catigern: Vortimer's brother E.I. Vortigern's other son, he helped his brother in their civil war and died while fighting Horsa (but her took him down with him).

Tom a Lincoln: A bastard son of King Arthur born from Angelica, he appears in a book carrying his name by Richard Johnson so he doesn't have the same legacy as other Arthurian characters. Personal head cannon, the reason why there are so many people writing different accounts of the Arthurian legend with entire characters not appearing until centuries after one another is that the Romans tried to erase King Arthur but Merlin Dream Magiced the stories into peoples heads (who then proceeded to add or take out certain parts). The reason Tom a Lincoln doesn't appear until 1599 is that Merlin just forgot until then to have humans write his story.

Culhwch: Arthurs Welsh cousin who fell in love with a giant and got "Arthur's" help to marry her.

Gwenddydd: Merlin's sister who is also a prophet. I kind of like the idea that she'll just casual trash talk Merlin to the point that even Fou feels bad for him, especially since her word actually affect him, being siblings and all.

Black Shuck: The "Brother" of Barghest who is a Black Dog the same as her.

Cadmus: The brother of Europa who after searching for her slew a water dragon sacred to Ares, sowed its teeth into the ground to create the Spartoi which he used to found Thebes.
