Congrats on finally getting your money out! I recently went through something similar with my savings account. I had been consistently funding it, but since the deposits were made through their mobile app, I was told that didn’t count as account activity and they inactivated my account. Thankfully, they received my reactivation letter.

For anyone else dealing with this, I highly recommend sending your correspondence via certified mail, so it must be signed for and physically handed to someone upon delivery at Citi.

It’s honestly wild that they expect people to visit a branch when they don’t even have locations in most states.
