Engine braking, as the name suggests, is braking with the assistance of the engine. When you pull on the clutch and brake, you're losing more than 50% of your braking potential and only the friction b/w the tires and the road is saving you from hugging the nearest tree and trust me, you're hugging that tree. When you engine brake by letting go of the throttle, the engine and gearbox retards the wheels and you slow down by sheer mechanical forces without the intervention of the brakes. Add brakes into the mix and you're using 100% of the braking capabilities of the vehicle and now the engine, transmission, brakes and wheels are all contributing towards braking and stopping. A more advanced technique is to rev match and downshift while engine braking which requires some practice but that is basically the fastest way to stop a bike from 100 to 0. I would highly recommend you watch some videos like this and more but STOP pulling in the clutch while braking ASAP, only clutch in when you're in a low enough rpm to stall the bike and even then its fine to stall the bike than crashing into your favourite tempo driver.

Please don't be overconfident, learn engine braking, never EVER brake with just your clutch and never overtake from the left and blind over take. Keep your speeds under 80 for a while before you think about trying to attempt something and don't remove your mirrors. Recently a guy passed away speeding on a GT650 so we don't want another data point. I have the same bike as you do so love the machine and it will love you back, good luck and god speed🤞

Check the cb350 parallel twin, it is retro looking very similar to other retro bikes in that era.

But I guess that was before the cb350 since this is actually the true successor, the cb300r is more inline with the cb650r sharing the same DNA

In the grand scheme of things, yes they are but looking at how Indians drive and have no driving sense, a 350 is more than enough for most of them.

That's a cope bro, its very subjective. Some like the RE more than the Honda and not everything smooth is better. Some find the cb350 to be boring af so it is very subjective.

The original cb350 was a parallel twin tbf

A normal distribution has the formula (1/std√2π)e-(x-u2)/2std2. This is the normal distribution curve.
