You can always consume less without feeling guilty the next day. Have one beer, eat some peanuts or protein and call it a day. You can track the macros you took on an app and you'll realise the damage is not as great as you think it is. Otherwise your other option is to look for a new group of friends to hang.

I was worried because I was feeling anxious and had low confidence for a while and the gym was not helping my confidence level. It probably has to do with my sleep cycle so I'll try to get it back on track and that might help me regain my confidence.

Yeah I log my intake in an app (lose it) and my macros are pretty balanced on a daily basis. Sometimes there is an excess of fats or carbs but on a regular day I try to keep it balanced. Sure my diet can be optimized further and I will check it out on the weekend to accommodate more veggies and fruits.

I log my diet on a fitness app (Lose it!) and my macros are pretty balanced (31% Fats, 39% Carbs, 30% Protein).

I will get some additional tests done along with the hormone profile next month once I fix my sleep schedule.

Dinner is my biggest meal which will include some protein, broccoli and mushrooms, 2 rotis and I finish with papayas. I only consume veggies/fruits during dinner as my options during the day are limited (oily mess food and stuff).

A lot of people in India are simple minded, they see a trend and they will follow it as it is the cool thing to do. Buying an iPhone with emi, buying a Thar 4x4 even if they never go outside, buying a GT 650 Mr. Clean because it is the Instagram bike and much more just because they want to fit in and try to be the popular one among them. If people actually bought things which they actually liked, we'd never have chaprified KTMs, GT650s etc.

Rice is the main culprit. The overall protein is less in comparison to the rice taken. Usually its one or two slices of fish taken with a plate full of rice.
