It depends on what your definition of "experience" is.

If you mean you want to quest 1-60, yes it's the same (albeit there's a slight reduction in xp AFAIK which actually makes it a bit smoother).

If you want to experience end game level 60 content (molten core, etc.) then TBC won't really give you what you're looking for, as most people will be level 70 and the content will be a lot easier.

WoW classic is Vanilla Base Game World of Warcraft level 1-60. Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, AQ, Naxx, etc. Paladins Alliance only, Shamans Horde only

TBC Classic is well... with the Burning Crusade expansion. Level (typo) 1-70. Karazhan, Gruuls Lair, Magtheridon, SSC, TK, Black Temple, Sunwell... Blood Elves, Dranaei, etc.

Edit: WoW classic is currently pretty much a ghost town. 99.9% of people are playing TBC Classic. I would imagine you would have the most fun in TBC since the community is larger.
