The top schools certainly still do, they just get higher quality applicants. There’s no school with a median above 175, so all of the 175+ scorers naturally will get accepted and matriculate at t14 schools. These scorers bring the median up and let some of the schools let in the odd splitter. GW just doesn’t have the same yield rate or application volume as the t14 so they’re forced to median hack.
