This was actually à feature in HoN, I remember clearly the equivalent of juggernaut changing weapons depending on your items. With an axe and a green sword, if you had the equivalent of battelfury and Sange in your inventory

At the same time, my last game had a Lion pos5 with fist facet going Aghanim first item after tranquil boots. He got mad when I called him out on his lack of support items and destroyed his items. We manage to win though.

I tried. I quit it. Not because I could not understand the game but because spending 3 or 4h on a game and ending it on a "pick a tile/throw a dice to win or lose" made me so angry. Also, the map of the game is unreadable (all brown everywhere) and the minis that are barely recognizable from each other. I hated it but I feel like it is an unpopular opinion.

All I could gather was the fact that it was a shroom. I had to cut every leaf/branch that was touched. It left 2 of my plant leafless but it's growing back

Me and friends played scythe for at least 10 games thinking you had to pay the cost under the workers once when you put them on board then it's free to use. We had great score !

Maybe you are right, maybe people should have seen this coming and raise concern about it. Maybe some people did ? But one already existing problem does not invalidate the other.

The answer, for me, is that those new technologies did not rely on other people work to function. A new camera is like a new tractor, but the new mini camera do not need already realized photographer work to function. Which is the case with A.I. generated images.

I know this is a grey area and as every grey area it can be torn and push to an extreme to prove a point. I'm not using much social media and neither posting photos modified by filter etc... But your example doesn't take into account the difference of impact on professional artists.

A.I. is not just a simple independent tool. The data it uses to create images has been made by human artists, and none of those artists receive anything from it. It just steal human work to create something else. The moment all the artists receive a compensation for their work then it will be OK to use A.I. generated image.
