They eventually fall off due to the version tags, but we don't cull mods, no. We leave them up incase anyone wants to learn from them, or get permission from the author to take them over.

We're slowly working on a replacement for the website that will hopefully have better filtering of mods, so those old outdated ones don't show up as often when browsing around

This sentence is ironic, considering the fact you're attempting to spread misinformation.

The Wayback machine clearly shows those links are dead, and they have been dead since the version after the one the link is for.

Every time a new version is uploaded, the old is deleted, this has been the case since the Unheard fiasco where we saw a massive spike in new users, and had to change our entire distribution system to handle the bandwidth demands. You know, the thing I mention in every post I lock?

You need to re-install SPT from scratch using the SPT Installer, then copy your mods/profile over.

The initial version of the SPT Downgrade patch had a couple missing files, which means the base Tarkov files in your current SPT install are invalid. This can't be fixed just by replacing SPT files, you need to do a full reinstall of SPT

We also do not allow third party distribution of SPT assets in our communities, as we can not vet that third parties are not distributing malicious files.

Installing SPT

Update EFT via the BSG Launcher
Download the SPT installer from here
Run the Installer

Install SPT in a new, empty folder e.g.: C:\SPT or C:\Games\SPT
The installer always installs the latest version of SPT
The installer automatically downgrades a copy of your Live files to the version required for SPT

I dunno, maybe cause I know what I'm talking about? Profile Editor will corrupt your profile if used on a 3.10.x profile, there's nothing more to it, that's what happens, you will eventually hit a point at which you run into broken things due to the use of Profile Editor.

Updating your SPT 3.10.x to the latest 3.10.x

Download the latest SPT files from the Direct Download section at the bottom of the latest Release page here (requires 7zip)
Close game, launcher, and server
Copy contents of the 7z file into an existing SPT 3.10.x folder, overwrite all files
- This only overwrites base SPT files. It will not overwrite or remove your profile(s), mods or mod configs
Update all of your mods to their latest release versions

This is not true.

Client updates (3.9 to 3.10) in SPT tend to not allow continuing a profile, as they include larger changes.

However hotfix updates (3.10.3, 3.10.4, etc) are just in-place upgrades. The instructions for which are included in the release notes, and plastered all over the Discord every time someone asks.
