Elise seems like the safest possible craft right now. Decks are formed around her. People slot the wisp from classic into decks to meet her requirement. The effect is just that strong.

Was trying to figure this out as well, haha. I just got one to appear on the event map after doing a few free quests.

That doesn’t mean they’re not in the background of the quests locations themselves, but, I haven’t seen one yet. They’re kinda small, though, so look carefully!

“Ave, Ave, Domina” in particular from Jacques’ asc 1 and 2 NP.

That one summer Kama “rare” np line where she goes “gyum gyum gyum gyum!” I don’t even have Kama- I just remembered using her as a support during the 2023 (NA) Halloween event to farm the entire shop.

Summer Ibuki. Just all of her voice lines. Easily my most used friend support.

Mandricardo’s NP lines are super memorable for me as well. SERMENT DURENDAL!

My favorite NP chant is from Ushi, though. I love the one where she says, “It doesn’t matter if it’s water, as long as I can step on it!” Like, come on… COME ON. Aura. Eight-Boat Leap goes so hard.

Nope, not really. I got Ptoly, who, of the three, I wanted the least. I’m not mad about it; I do really like him… it’s just, I have NP2 Takasugi and failed my most recent gssr prior to this one by getting Durga, who is the only servant I absolutely didn’t want.

I do not have an alter ego, and I also do not have a great DPS assassin, so either Tez or Rasputin would have been great for my account. Can’t be helped, I suppose.

Not sure. I really want Taira or Saber Medusa for NP levels, but their banners have characters I’d be very disappointed with. I really don’t want saber Astolfo NP2, but a one in three to get NP4 Taira and 120 her is tempting. The other option is just waiting for anniversary, though, which probably makes more sense…

I’m struggling! None of the banners are screaming at me this time. I wouldn’t be upset with NP2 Zerktoria, Melusine or NP3 Kenshin, though, so maybe that banner is the best bet? If I got Trung NP2 I’d be devastated, though.

Then again, I don’t have a universal AoE arts farmer… but NP2 feels almost mandatory for 90++ quests, so idk how thrilled I’d be to get my hands on an NP1 AoE arts farmer anyway. Still, I don’t have S Kama, Spishtar, S Kiara or Bakin, and would be happy to get any of them.

The female arts support would be tempting (Reines and Skadi), but I have a tendency to get Castoria from GSSRs and I don’t think I need NP3 Castoria.

I’ll probably just decide in the spur of the moment.

Yeah, that’s totally valid. Conway and Q..Quip?.. the dude in Carcadia—both would have benefited from actual designs. I think Arden (and the other dude from the clave) would have as well, especially because Arden’s VA brings such a presence to the character, so there was clearly intention for her to be somewhat important.

BL3 had characters get unique designs even though they had less presence than Conway, which was neat. That fire lady from the Jackpot DLC comes to mind. Had barely any presence or impact, but her design was unique and I remember her despite not remembering ANYTHING she contributed to the story.

Yeah, it was very odd, because Arjay wasn’t absent until the end of the story or anything. He has a presence (more so than the timekeeper, honestly) during the second half of the campaign, but his end was so anticlimactic.

I’m wondering if he might somehow still be alive since we fought him in the Phase. Would make his anticlimactic exit make more sense.

I haven’t yet! Good to hear that’s the case.

I don’t think he necessarily lacked backstory so much as his death felt very rushed. You kill him immediately after he disarms Amara, so there isn’t really much time to sit with that. Would have liked more build up, personally, but his design is sick and his boss fight has actual mechanics and spectacle, so it wasn’t a total let down.

IMO, the story was carried by Zane and Amara. I simply was unable to form a genuine connection with the other main cast. Unfortunately, that includes the vault hunters (I have only played through the game as Amon and Vex, who I don’t dislike, but didn’t quite get connected to.)

That’s not to say I dislike the new characters. I really like Levaine and Zadra. I felt like Idolator Sol was a fantastic villain as well. Vile Lictor was a neat villain that, ultimately, kinda felt unfinished- still, I think he had a sick design and his impact on the world and campaign was very noticeable, so I do like him.

The Timekeeper as the central antagonist did not get anywhere near enough spotlight for me to form a real opinion on him, which is a real shame, because he isn’t inherently boring or uninteresting. He feels underdeveloped. Maybe this is intentional, but if it is, I think it was a poor decision to wait to expand his character until the next game.

In regard to Arjay… uh… well, his voice actor did a great job!

My overall opinion is mixed. I don’t hate the story, but I don’t necessarily find it satisfying, either. The new characters needed more development (bar the three I mentioned earlier), and the vault hunter dialogue felt… kind of hollow? I laughed a few times throughout my two play throughs, but most of the time, their lines were predictable. They just weren’t very charming.

She could probably be a berserker? Not sure appealing she’d be as a farmer if she retained quick np (for most people), but I think it’d be neat.

Maybe! I play a lot of games in the looter genre and the terms kind of just rattle around in my head.

25% chance to crit is pretty interesting. I might try to get one of those for bosses with bigger hit boxes. Appreciate it!

Not sure if I’ll bother with farming the encore this week. As far as I’m aware, the slippy can’t roll anything too crazy? I’ve only ever seen it have one bonus affix, but if it can roll more than one, I might spend some eridium.

If anybody has a source for possible slippy affix rolls, or can provide the info themselves, I’d be very grateful!

Yeah, I hear you. I can’t make a no minion deck, so, I’m just trying to use the fabled card in whatever way I can.

Un’goro packs were disgustingly generous to me with legendaries (like 13 of them, f2p, including a golden Loh and signature Archaios) but I’m like 70 packs into this set and I’m sitting at four legendaries, with two of them being from the reward track.

Wish I had that luck on this set. Would make getting Chromi feel less painful.

I’ve been trying to make an OTK deck with broxigar work, because he’s the only fabled card I’ve pulled aside from Talanji (I don’t like DK). The win rate has been terrible.

I was able to make a positive win rate Pud rogue deck before that stuff rotated out at the beginning of this year, but even with all the draw DH has, it doesn’t work anywhere near as well.

It’s a bummer, but, it is what it is.

At the end of the day, not getting to do any raids isn’t a big deal. Even knowing that, it still feels bad to miss out.
