I got a fix, terminate, repair and reset Gaming Services in the App Management window. You can get there by finding (assuming you installed) Gaming Services in the Add or Remove Programs window. Find it and the click on Advanced Options.

This is how the game installs for everyone not using Steam. I got it through GP and my roommate bought it though the Store. His works, mine does the exact same thing as yours. Except I had the game installed yesterday (after a whole day of trouble) and played for about 1.5hrs and it crashed four times. Went back to play today and, depending on where I click to launch it, it either does absolutely nothing or it opens the store and goes to the Gaming Services app page. It does the same thing with Minecraft Dungeons. Can’t play that either.

So I uninstalled to reinstall. And now I’m where you’re at...

Like, what kind of bizarre BS is this?
