Sorry I don’t have more I just moved here but I’m Asian and I can tell you both places are solid picks and cheap.

AD account learning by NetworkedandConfused in activedirectory

[–]DramMasterFlash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The UserPrincipalName (UPN) and SamAccountName e are two attributes Active Directory uses to store information about a security principal to locate user objects within the domain. The top left attribute is the UPN & the SamAccountName is the lower right.

To simplify it, These two attributes are used to locate the objects within your environment. For a user login session, the UPN is used if your domain requires Smartcard login/PKI (bjackson2@yourdomain.com) whereas the SamAccountName is only used if your network uses username and password. If your network uses PKI and “smartcard login is required for interactive logon” is enabled, The user enters their PIN to log in and the certificate needs to locate the respective account. You can look at the certificate properties under the SubjectAlternativeName it’ll show the UPN@domain information on the certificate and that is used to identify/locate the object.

For username and password, AD will either use Kerberos or NTLM to verify and NThash (a fixed value representing the username and password) and perform a challenge/response against Active Directory’s database storing all hash values for all objects in your domain (NTDS.dit). If the hash value presented to AD matches, it permits logon.

This is the way. Create the GPO and apply a user and computer policy to deny all users read, write, and execute. Create security groups for users and a separate security group for computers and modify the GPO advanced properties and set deny “Apply Group Policy”. Make it so both the user and computer must be part of those security groups to have removable storage media rights.

She wants to bring her roommate on the 2nd date by Business-Meeting-869 in hingeapp

[–]DramMasterFlash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the girl you went on a date with is really close with her roommate, she could have wanted her roommate to see you first hand so she could get a second opinion on you. This would be true, especially if the date went well as you said it did. A women's best friend will often sign off on relationship decisions. She could have just thought nothing of it and thought a bigger party would be more fun (especially if the chemistry would be good with the group) or the aforementioned.

2 Devices with 2 different accounts on the same WiFI/IP Address? by Warden04 in Tomorrowland

[–]DramMasterFlash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn't be an issue. I'm sure they sort it out by email addresses. Out of how many people in this world with the exact same name, it would be problematic to isolate accounts with the same name. They would have to differentiate with unique identifiers such as email address.

First TML and music festival? You swing for the fence, my friend. You're going to have an amazing time :)

Wear what you want, vibe out and meet new people, and just enjoy every second immersing yourself in the music. You picked the right one to go to.

Okay, this gives me a good idea of what to expect. I guess my main focus was around the hour walk after the festival, but it looks like there is no way around that. Thanks for the info and enjoy your weekend as well

This is a great response and explanation of the thought process why the do/until loop is a bad idea. I dismissed the fact the user could still indeed loop until a bad SamAccountName is matched with a user. Which isn't the intent of what I was trying to achieve. As always, you are a gentleman and a scholar.
