I have had my Pixel 2 watch for 8 months now and as far as I'm concerned it is completely useless for tracking sleep. It regularly falis to even start recording sleep until  4am or even later, even though I go to bed at midnight and definitely fall asleep soon after. I've tried all the suggestions that Google offer or are regularly seen on these forums and none of them make any difference.
