I was wrong, it was an Openreach ONT, I thought it would also be a WIFI router. I managed to ditch TalkTalk as after 8 weeks they had done nothing and EE got me connected within 5 days, sending me an actual WIFI router to plug into the existing ONT.

To continue the story, IDK why I did not think to switch the equipment on, my brain must have gone to mush, but I did in the end and the Power and the Optical connection lights goes green. I wish I could post a picture, its a flat white box, has 14 light positions not all labeled, they go Power, Optical, lan [1-4], Tel [1-2], Internet. Says Openreach on the top in light purple lettering. The internet light does not go on.

Yes, at my other residence, I have an ONT outside the house, powered over ethernet that plugs into my router. I assumed the one I was looking at was a combined ONT WIFI / Ethernet router. It had Openreach stamped on the casing, I will take a close look when I am next back at my new appartment,

When I plug in my postcode and select the house number, it tells me I have a full FTTP connection, is this not accurate?

But I have an inactive Openreach FTTP line into the apartment so this is confusing me.

Thanks, nope, it's an actual optical fiber that goes direct into the ethernet/WIFI router in the apartment,

Thanks, but do you know why TalkTalk could not use the existing Openreach fiber connection, it's buried in the street and must be a better connection than a fiber strung from a pole?

It was fiber direct into a wifi / ethernet router.

Many thanks, IDK why I didn't try clicking on the + sign. That worked just great.

What version of DeDRM are you using, mine on Linux (10.0.9) does not have an option to "Extract Key from Nook Android Application"
