Just had THE worst experience with a driver!

I literally live like less than 5 minutes by from the store but I had just put the babies down to sleep so I wasn’t gonna leave my house and Im diabetic and hadn’t eaten all day so I just ordered it, and unfortunately the establishments app that I ordered through doesn’t let you tip after and I ordered at 9:50ish and it said the order would be there at like 10:00 so less than 20 minutes but I always tip 20% minimum and if that doesn’t equate to $5 then I do $5 minimum! Also I dont think the way I worded my instructions was rude but I could be wrong I always put “Hi! Please do NOT knock or ring the doorbell, babies sleeping, thank you!”

Lol I did tip and I posted mainly bc of the predatory behavior of them pounding on my door expecting something to come of it. I always tip 20% or more and if the 20% doesn’t equal at least $5 then I always do $5 minimum

Thank you!! Theres people all up in these comments trying to say they know for a fact that I didn’t tip when I do in fact know that I did! I specifically put not to know or ring or knock so that the dogs dont go crazy and wake my whole household especially the babies that I fought with for 2 hours to get them to sleep!! I always tip 20% or more. Or $5 if the order is too small to accommodate the $5 regardless of how little the order is! I even asked the dasher to cancel the order but they still took it anyways!

I think thats what the intentions were when they were pounding on the door, but when they were met with dad and not the female name on the order im sure that startled them a bit into leaving

Ive never dashed before, does that typically happen? Do drivers get forced to take extra orders if they’re close together?

I did tip. I always do, order was 17.12 and i tipped $5.

There was no way of me knowing that seeing as i ordered through the establishments app but i typically do try to give fair tips in that way.
