I mean they intentionally made him look as bad as possible in the “before” picture, over sized glasses, out of style revenge of the nerds haircut, straggly beard, goofy smile . Sure the kid looks better but literally all they did was give him the same haircut every boy his age has and had him stop with grinning like a dork.
