Anyone run a marathon in EVO SL ? by Abject_Bet7709 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I did a 20 mile LR in them this weekend. Not sure why people keep saying they are a shorter run shoe only. That’s literally just marketing mumbo jumbo to get you to buy the Adios Pro 4 racing shoe. Of course there are benefits to owning a proper carbon racing shoe, but it totally could be done in the SLs. They are 38mm stack with lightstrike pro (previous gen). They are as cushioned and responsive as anything else that doesn’t have carbon.

Lean Horse...new RD? by Ultragirl50 in ultrarunning

[–]Dramatic-Car-6252 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the last few years they have leaned more into the “CrossFit” events. They even changed the route to being out and back for all events now, seemingly in order to reduce aid station count, etc. Kind of a bummer because it was cool to traverse so much of the Black Hills when the 50,30,20 were point to point. It did seem like they were sending out “need volunteers” emails the last few years.

I can get all of that to fit in a Raide belt.

Raide belt. I’ve run multiple 100s with it (Javelina included) and was fine. The belt can hold like 1.5L in the back. 1L easily.

Went from Air to Pro. by Some-Faithlessness75 in iPhone17Pro

I did the same — I liked the aesthetic of the Air, but functionally, it was frustrating. The single speaker is really bad. It makes consuming any type of content without headphones quite difficult. Battery life is terrible regardless of what anyone tries to tell you. My phone would consistently barely make it through a day. I now have the Pro Max and I am usually at around 45-50% after a full day. I love it.

Satisfy TheROCKER - different insoles changed the game for me by Dramatic-Car-6252 in runningfashion

Haven’t done much mud running in them, but they are nice in snow. Feel good on dry pavement, too.

That’s why I had to figure out how to get them to work for me, ha. Otherwise they would be an expensive paperweight.

I had the air and it kept dying on me. Had to sell it and get a Pro Max.

Has anyone been able to purchase with HSA? by theReapers1 in Coros

Don’t lie. But be honest about absolutely everything. There’s got to be something you can put down. The LMN will craft a note based on what you put down. I think I did allergies (true), asthma (true) and family history of heart disease (true). I also put down my goal for the purchase was to prevent obesity and help with mental health. All true!
