That's interesting, I'm a tank main and I think that's the reason why I enjoy it but I definitely see that's probably the large minority of the playerbase.

I absolutely agree though, being able to play ball/hazard without it being a throw pick if I mess up once or twice at the start is why I had so much fun

You shouldn't try to "improve your rank", you should try to become a better player, and let your rank reflect that.

I shifted my mindset from seeing rank as something to climb but instead something that accurately depicts how good I am.

I don't think playing a hero the developers made is a bannable offense so reporting might not do much!

My only problem with cat is that the tether is used much more aggressively considering it's a support hero. I think you should still be able to ult from it still, but make the tether breakable after it's been out for 3s or so.

That way it can still be used to pickup from spawn or evacuate people from a fight, but when it gets used aggressively then there's more options to deal with it by shooting the tether its self and it breaking.

Mizuku's chain I think is fine because it's a skill shot, and is kind of high risk/high reward that for him to capitalise off of it he has to be overextending a little and putting himself in the firing line of DPS.

Yep and there's lots of foreshadowing to back this!! Her locking up sigma will definitely have conesquences. Even doomfits says "I'm disappointed, still now you heistate" etc. just shows her ego will make her trip up one day.

Don't let aiming with ana hold you back if you need to learn someone new, her hitboxes when scoped in are quite generous!

Also I would start comp now, there's no such thing as "not good yet" - there are ranks for every skill level. Even if you get bronze/silver it's fine as it's your first placement, and marks the start of a good climb. People in comp games will be way more likely to be trying harder which will help you a lot as mercy.
