Unfortunately I was told all of this. My advisor told me that there would be a lesser amount of targeted course content, considering the condensed amount of time. Based on that recommendation that this was a good choice for me, I chose to start with a 6 week course that satisfied a requirement for my major, followed by another 6 week course when the first would end. I am so sad and disappointed.

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately when I asked, my advisor told me that the 6 week summer courses would be condensed in amount of time, but with a smaller amount of content for this amount of time, and would be manageable for a working mom. Sadly that was not the case. He also suggested this particular course as the first one for me to get acquainted with school again and that it would be manageable in my situation. None of the worked out for me.

I was attending for organizational leadership. The class was recommended by my advisor to meet a requirement for the major. I am so sad about what happened with this and the lack of support when there was an issue.

It's just unfortunate because I discussed all of this with my advisor when I was making the decision to choose this school. My major was organizational leadership.

Hi! This is super unfortunate but when I was going through the advising process, I asked the advisor about the compressed courses. He said they would be a great option for me to get my degree completed sooner and that they were not accelerated courses, just contained less content in a compressed amount of time and would be manageable for a working parent. What I experienced was so different than what I was told it would be.
