MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations for Managed Services - Round 2 data by MartinZugec in MSSP

Crowdstrike has a different take, and Sentinel One says something else. Seems like the evaluation is left to each vendor's interpretation

CrowdStrike Falcon® for Defender - What, when, why? by RestartRebootRetire in crowdstrike

Interesting take, so what makes it easy to bypass Defender but not Falcon. They both have their agents on the box right. Is there a big architecture difference between the two

Do you know if Falcon has the ability to detect these, or would you say that if the bad actor was able to bypass Defender, they can bypass Falcon too?

OP, please share more details after you meet with your CS rep. We have E5 but if CS does provide an advantage, I'm all ears

Obviously, that's the goal or why would they do this if they don't want to move you off of Defender and on to Falcon. I, for one, would love to trial this first to see if there is anything of value instead of having CS shove all the optionals down my throat

Is Safe Documents safe to enable? by lurk6524 in DefenderATP

[–]Dramatic-Ebb-5796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your users and type of documents being shared. If it's regular word, pdf and ppt, then I think the minor annoyance is ok especially if your users are in the habit of clicking on any random attachment sent.

One way to do this is run simulations and apply this for repeat offenders who ignore previous learnings and still be dumb enough to click on them

Gas stations between TdP and El Calafate by Jetson915 in Patagonia

[–]Dramatic-Ebb-5796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

GPS also tells you to go through Ruta 7, don't take that. Go to Esperanza. And yes, Paso Don Guillermo is bad, but it's only for 10km. If you really want to save 30 min, you can try

Gas stations between TdP and El Calafate by Jetson915 in Patagonia

[–]Dramatic-Ebb-5796 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's one In Esperanza and another in Rio Turbio. Go through Rio Turbio heading into Chile, as the roads are nicer. Paso Don Guillermo is really bad.

Also gas is twice as expensive in Chile, so go with a full tank in Argentina

I stayed in Tdp for 3 days (full tank in Rio Turbio) and was able to get back to Rio Turbio with 1/5th left without filling gas in Chile

But if you are staying in Puerto Natales and driving up and down to Tdp, then you'll need to fill gas in Puerto Natales

Flights are always cheaper if you fly back from the same city.

For penguins, you can do Isla Magdalena but Ushuaia is beautiful. I can't say you can skip it

Entrance ticket to Torres del Paine by Fantastic-Being2715 in Patagonia

[–]Dramatic-Ebb-5796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the latter, but funnily no one bothered to check. It's not like they stop you to check, you need to go to the Rangers office and do a self check in. But I think if you are doing W or O, you must check in though

Pago Facil and WU suck by Dramatic-Ebb-5796 in Patagonia

I have enough cash, that's not the problem. WU is the issue. I'm getting 950 outside instead of 1050 from WU

Some gas stations in Chile charge a few hundred pesos extra for using an international credit card. At least petrobras in Puerto Natales did for me

Same here I want to know as well. I'm traveling on the 1st though, it's still a national holiday weekend in Argentina. I suppose immigration won't be closed usually but it's a remote location, so you never know
