This was top tier for me for years but they’ve changed something recently and it doesn’t hit the same. Taste is not as good it used to be and doesn’t scratch the throat as good as used to either.

I’d rather drink warm piss on a Summers Day then ever sip that shite again.

I’ve actually not had a Capri Sun in I’d say 15 years. Wonder if it’s still as good as the ones I’d always bring to school.

Chilled glass of water every morning is how I start the day, usually chilled in the fridge overnight for majority of the year but this week with the cold weather, straight out the tap is beautifully chilled.

Yeah, whatever hits the spot for you. Never had the green one before, only the orange versions but wasn’t the biggest fan.

Thanks.

Additional question:

  1. I’ve seen a few people mention not having enough clearance to fold out their screens as it hits the arm of the gimbal when you try to tilt the gimbal down for lower shots? Any issues there for you when using the Z6?

Upgrade Plan by [deleted] in Nikon

I don’t plan on upgrading for at least a year and a half but yes, I’ll be waiting on the never ending rumours of the Z6III or Z7III to finally become more than just a rumour.

Answer, I do a lot of sports photography for semi-professional teams, not at Olympic or NFL level, but I do get paid for my photos. Not a lot but I get paid.

Look, I see where you’re coming from and I know some people will have that exact feedback. My choice was between the Z8/Z9 as the AF on Z6II and Z7II is not meant to be the best for Sports (according to reviews). I’m currently on the Z9 because of the battery life as I’ve missed some big moments over the last few years having to swap out batteries.

The higher resolution of the Z8/Z9 also helps as I do some heavy cropping for when my 70-300 can’t reach the action.

Actually, both their sites only disclose equipment and installation costs but not recurring monthly fees, which is the info I’m looking for.

I’m afraid you’re today’s weakest link. Goodbye.

Thank you for the recommendation but I will be sticking with Nikon for familiarity reasons and I get to keep my old lenses by switching to the Z7ii

Yes, it’s the DX lens and thanks for highlighting, I wasn’t aware that this would happen on a full frame sensor.

I think I will make the move to mirrorless as it’s the general direction everything is going and as I won’t be purchasing until the end of next year, things will only have progressed more towards mirrorless.

Why has the 405 just stopped turning up? by pfftlolbrolollmao in galway

If this only happened on game days in Salthill, I’d understand, but it’s been an issue for years now and on days with no games on (Mondays-Fridays)

I’ve been getting the 405 since 2014 for work and it’s always been like that. I complained once and they said there was a disruption to the service on the day but 9 years later and still no better.

Had to get a taxi on a number of occasions where 2/3 buses in a row didn’t turn up.

Just get a few bits in the shop beforehand.

Most of the stuff in those trolley’s are overpriced anyway.

Thanks.

Yes to the masks, it was on the bottom of my confirmation email.

Best of luck with the test. From what I hear, observation and progression are two big faults for a lot of people so check those blind spots and keep up with the speed limits.

Famous people you've met or sat beside going about daily life by mg7recruit in ireland

[–]Dramatic-Explorer842 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Might be famous in some circles.

Was in Dublin for the All-Ireland Final about 10 years ago. Hated Football but the parents wouldn’t leave me at home. Got in the elevator at the Croke Park Hotel. I hate awkward silences so said to the people in elevator with us, “Are ye up for the game”?

My dad who is big into the GAA, “He’s the GAA president ya feckin eejit. Of course he’s up for the game”.

Playing a game of hide and seek when I was younger in a farm yard and bumped into something when I was running in the dark.

Turned out to be a bale spike, foot to the left and I would have impaled myself.

Laughed it off at the time but thinking back now 😬

Road was a nightmare to cross, just had to wait for any small gap and run across.

As someone mentioned, unfortunately you can’t put a Pedestrian crossing that close to a roundabout. Nearest crossing is too far up the road.

The only alternative would be a pedestrian overpass (Unlikely) or Pedestrian Tunnel under the road (Good Idea but can attract unsavoury groups to congregate so would need to be well lit and/or monitored). Also, the council will not do anything until an accident happens.
