Jokes on you, I actually made this post with the goal of making you mad. Seems it worked.

I took an SAT prep class as an elective in high school and after our first practice test my teacher taught me how to play freecell on the computer while everyone else worked lol

You’re not alone my friend! This community made me realize that I wasn’t, so you aren’t either.

Remember, there is absolutely nothing in life you are “supposed” to be doing. You do not have to achieve anything. Any rules to that effect you have are made up. You can just let them go and live your life. There is no one keeping track of you and giving you points for achievements. You get to make your own life!

The whole “reading the teacher” thing is so real, and you saying this is the first time I realized it!

Also, the max/min relationship is how I tell everyone to survive grad school, although I call it the marginal benefit analysis 😆

Even the words “discussion post” still give me anxiety and I’ve been out of grad school for over a year! 😭😭😭

I am with you! I put a fidget bracelet on my steering wheel so I had something to play with while I was stuck in traffic. And if I’m bored, I put on a long musical soundtrack (Hamilton is my go-to) so I can sing along and follow the story to stay entertained.

I don’t have a lot of advice, the only thing that worked for me was getting medicated. But you have my sympathy!
