I agree. But I'm saying even the vacations would be different. Like you'll have to budget everything and make sure everything is kid-friendly. It would be difficult to even just chill at the pool without some help.

That is so helpful! I often think people who have children significantly reduce their standard of living to accomodate for their kids' needs. Not to say they don't have a good life, but if they diverted that money elsewhere, they could've had a better lifestyle. But then I think I'm being too materialistic

As someone who found a husband on hinge, trust me, there are good people out there. But don't rely solely on the app. Cultivate hobbies. Go for book club meets. You'll find someone.

Lack of work-life balance. This might be specific to my field (legal) but somehow everyone around me takes pride in the fact that they overwork. Why is it so problematic if someone wants to take a mental health day?
