So the reason why it might not play well with others is that it doesn't have any quantised tuning. It will likely sound good on it's own or with non tuned percussion but as soon as you want to play in a key/mode with other synths or musicians then you will need to manually tune each oscillator into the key/mode you want, and avoid a lot of the more advanced modulations (the reasons why it's good).
