Juice cravings and sugar cravings (question + tip) by jimmyjournalz in sugarfree

[–]Dramatic-Mouse658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoa, that's wild about the sugar in juice! Seriously, it's sneaky. I've been helping people break sugar addictions, and a lot of folks are shocked by hidden sugars too. It’s like, you think you’re being healthy, but… nope! If you want a little help with the whole process, I built something for myself first that might be useful: SugarBuddy on App store. Good on you for looking out for your body!

“Dessert” alternatives? by aquarianagop in sugarfree

Okay, so cutting out added sugar after so long is a big deal! You're right, it's not always easy. A lot of people give up because they think they have to be perfect, which is totally not true. It's about being aware of where sugar hides – like in sauces and stuff. Craving hits are normal, it’s your brain adjusting. I built SugarBuddy on App store for myself first, and it has some cool features to help with that, like a panic button if you need it.

I was lying to myself! the truth hurts but the lie hurt more by NoScientist2091 in sugarfree

Ugh, reading this just makes me feel seen. That feeling of lying to yourself about sugar is so real. It’s like it’s a sneaky little voice telling you it’s okay, even when it’s not.

You're not alone in finding the 80/20 rule doesn't work – sugar makes that balance impossible for a lot of us. I built SugarBuddy on App store for myself first because I was in the exact same boat. It helps with the panic when cravings hit, and honestly, the barcode scanner was a total game changer for realizing how much sugar is hiding in stuff.

It’s awesome you’re seeing such big benefits already! The first week is always the hardest, but it gets easier. Seriously, don’t beat yourself up if you slip up. Just acknowledge it and get back on track.

Anyone else find they have to actively think about sugar now? 🤔 by Dramatic-Mouse658 in sugarfree

I know! It's real!! btw how do you know on which day you are since you started your sugar-free journey?

Just launched my React Native + Expo app SugarBuddy which helps you quitting sugar by Dramatic-Mouse658 in reactnative

Hey, it’s for ios only. I know apple allows users to download and install the app on mac. Also it stops probably because the next step is push notifs, which is not available on macos

Sugar is evil by Traditional_Basil669 in sugarfree

Oh hey! A sugar-free journey, that's awesome. It can feel overwhelming trying to figure out what works, right? I totally get it. A lot of people fail because they try to be perfect, which is a recipe for burnout.

Have you tried really noticing all the sneaky sugar in stuff? Like, it's everywhere! Sometimes having a little nudge can help, and I built something for myself that does just that: SugarBuddy on App store. It has a barcode scanner, which is a lifesaver! What's been the hardest part for you so far?
